I think they're both nerd guys. They have not proven they're otherwise. They've managed to keep up the ruse, naturally, but how fucking EASY is that online? It's called a fake persona and I've dealt with a thousand of them in my time. Using the girl act helps out in a lot of ways. A. It makes people interested in you, which would ultimately help out with trust issues. It also gives them an edge over other people since naturally any guy on here (I've seen a lot of your pictures) would prefer to talk to some emo chick instead of the next nerd down the line. Who wouldn't?
