$20 Reward for knowledge leading me being back on xbox live!

Giving $20 via paypal to the person to correctly tell me how i can play xbox live in my college dorm. I connect straight into the wall local area network and was able to play until recently when i failed the xbox live tests with a ICMP Failure. Worked before so hopefully it will work again.

Access routers setup page .... look for MTU ...change the size to 1365 .... click save settings ....
Click "Application & Gaming" tab..... under application name use x-box1 use port 88 for both protocols ....type static Ip for the X-BOX .... check enable
Under application two use x-box2 .... rest is same except the port 3074 ....
Click save settings.. ....
Use manual settings like Ip address ...subnet & gateway ..... on X-BOX
Also configure the wireless settings same as in router ......
Check the X-BOX test .....

 

Where is router setup page..not the best with computers sorry. Maybe include screen shots? For real about the $20 i want to start playing again.

check with your school about registering a internet device with them. I know for my school i have to register it with them so they allow it to access the internet. the same goes for my laptops.

 

Cant get other internet from my dorm. And i already went to them about playing on xbox live..they said they dont want the "viruses" lmao.

 

Buy a long ethernet cable, plug it straight into the back of a computer, leading into your room.
