But just think, how does every single thought come into your mind? Just generated from your brain, yes, but how do you think we got here? just appeared randomly. No. We were created by God.
This world would be completely corrupt without one, seriously, nobody would give a shit about anyone or anything they really wouldnt care. What would be to live for? to die? No. Think of life as a test to qualify and make it into heaven.
Where will you go when you die? nobody really knows for 100% sure. But I'll bet my life that if when I die I'm going somewhere. And if you don't believe in a god, and just act the way you want to your going down (literally) into hell.

Why do so many religious people use this lazy, unscientific reasoning? If my theory fails in some particular respect, why do you consider yours right by default? Do you have any direct evidence to show that God put us here? Not "lol think about it", not "lol read the bible", not "lol I have no experience in any relevant field of science but I don't care you're still wrong", but ACTUAL DIRECT EVIDENCE?

Unless God doesn't exist, or the God that does exist doesn't care whether we believe in it or not, or God rewards skeptics more than fideists. Have you ever considered those possibilities?

Why don't you just start to read the bible, pray, attend church, join fellowship and see how your life will change dramatically.
With the presence of god, your life should be far greater than without god.

Well to put an end to all of this. No one really knows if God exists. No one has ever seen him, talked to him, or have been with him. Therefore no really knows if God exists or not. You can't claim something exists with having no evidence (scientific or religious). God could have easily been created by Nomad's, the Romans, or anyone. The theory of God has been said to exist back to the times of the Nomad's though, they thought something was helping them reproduce, get food, and make villages and such.

So there you go Shredderbeam, absolutely no one can really prove that God exists at all. Its all just theories.

I personally believe that there are higher and lower spirits than us, if there weren't then how would you explain Possessions. When you are possessed they say you are being used by a demon, and the only way to truly rid yourself of the demon is to go through with an exorcism. An exorcism is usually done by a good spirit who has studies the followings of God.

What that shows is that there are higher, brighter spirits and lower, darker spirits.

So now to put this altogether, no one can prove if there is a God. However there are facts of power struggles between lighter and darker spirits due to exorcisms or even haunted houses.

No, I'm looking for proof of a God, not step-by-step instructions on how to brainwash myself. I've already read the Bible, went to many churches, spoken with many priests, and the only thing that has changed is the confidence that I have in my own beliefs - it went up.

"Theory" isn't an appropriate word - maybe "strange-sounding beliefs that fly in the face of empirical evidence" works better.

First, your position has a fatal flaw: You cannot explain what causes possessions, then assume by default that something supernatural must be causing it. It's the argument from ignorance.

Second, do you have extensive experience on the subject of possessions? Have you seen actual examples, performed scientific tests upon them, and ruled out all natural explanations?

No one can explain was causes possessions, some people think it just happens and other think that the person has opened up some sort of portal to the other side.

No, I am only 16 years old. I have read and watched shows on possession because its extremely interesting to me. I haven't performed tests on them, and I don't get what exactly you mean by "natural explanations".

 

There are actually several competing theories.

There is no evidence of any sort of portal.

So how do you feel qualified to make the claim that "no one can explain what causes possessions" if you're entirely inexperienced in this field?

"Natural explanations" are explanations that involve only the natural, as opposed to the supernatural (ex. - mental conditions)
