Lil Wayne - Best rapper or Worst.

Do you think Lil Wayne is the Worst, Best, or just a good rapper.
I'm asking for opinions WITH examples/reasons. Do not just say "he iz teh best rappr alive" or "dat biach suckz azz". If you do post something like this I will brush it off, but if it becomes a habit, I will report.

I will add a poll to sum up the results so people will get a good generalization.

Also, if you specifically liked/disliked a song or two, please say the name of it and if possible give a link.

My opinion on him, is he is a GOOD one, I don't want to say the best 100% of the time, but I still have that thought of him. He comes out with mix tapes pretty often, he's a comedian in his lyrics sometimes, has nice beats to his songs.

If you do not have anything to back your statement up, I will report you. Just vote on the poll if you don't want to be reported.
- Saying he is good or bad is still ok, but saying he is the worst with no examples is just spam.

 

I think he's not the best but good. A few good songs are "Weezy Ambitions", "Sky Is The Limit" and his part in "We Taking Over". There are way better rappers out there though. I think Nas is going down as a legend just like Big and 2Pac.

 

I really like Lil Wayne, but I also like Notorious B.I.G.(Biggie Smalls), Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur, Aesop Rock, Deltron 3030, etc.

 

Never heard of the last 2, but Snoop dawg, I never thought he was that good.

Right now, I think wayne is the best. Nas is koo and all, but comes out with like 1 song per 6 months.

 

Id like to add that Ice Cube, DMX, Dr. Dre, Big Pun and Dizzee Rascal are also great old skool rappers.

DMX is good, Ice Cube is good too.

But try to go toward recent/current rappers. Not Nas though, he's been mentioned and doesn't do alot of songs that I've heard of.

 

Rap is a joke. Its the same 4-4 beat with some guy talkin about how many bitches he has, how much money he's made, or that he grew up in the hood and they're gangsters.

I atleast listen to all and is open minded. Regardless of what they say, it has a good melody.

I don't like him, his voice annoys me too much to listen to him. I think we was good in Mr. Carter and My Life, but I still think Jay-Z out did him on Mr. Carter and The Game is what made 'My Life' good.

Best rapper? Eminem. I've said this for 8 years and I stand by it. Can't wait for his new album.

 

Lil Wayne has an annoying little girly voice. His lyrics are meaningless.

His new song is pathetic as well, i hate him and i think hes definately one of the worse rappers. Hes right up there with Soulja Boy.

 

Lil Wayne is defiantly a great rapper, the best... I'm not too sure.

I do love Wayne, got to hand it too him, puts out more songs and mix tapes than anyone else. People say his voice is annoying, but it’s different and that's what makes him.

He is one of my favourite rappers along side with Ya Boy, Young Jeezy, Tupac, B.I.G, bit of Fabolous, Dizzy Rascle and Rakim.

I also like others who wouldn’t really be classified as ‘rap’, more RNB or Hip Hop.

 

I don't think he is the best rapper ever, but he is good. He has no consistency. He was great in My Life, Lollypop and We taking over, but then followed up with failures such as Let it rock. He won't go down as a great rapper, but he definetly has skill.

As to who the best rapper ever is, I can't find anything between Eazy-E, Tupac and Biggie. Sadly, they're all dead.

Also the sheer amount of songs he producers, they might not all be great but he has a lot of hits.

Lol one of the worst is an overstatement. And I don't know where you got he has a little girls voice from, please, tell me atleast 2-3 songs he has one in.

You must not listen to alot of his music.

If you listen to more than what's on the radio, he sounds better.

 

Lil Wayne has no flow; definitely the worst.

 

I don't really see why so many people like him. I don't mind him, but still, i find his voice to be annoying at times. But the man is successful and millions love him, so he's doing something right. I'm more a fan of Wyclef Jean & Lupe Fiasco.

And I never really liked Jay-z, either I was too young when I listened to him, or I just don't like his style.
