Spending 10millish On mage

Hello i got 12millish and im going to spend 10mill on nature runes and 2m on yew long bows

what lvl wud it get me ? with all the alchs ?

 

You wont get anywhere near that with 10m.

Get 52 or whatever is needed to alch any means necessary.

Then alch yew longs.

 

Alching is 55, so I would get that then alch your way up, yew longs may be the best but also check the other common items (Ruby Bracelets, Magic Longs) to see what has the least loss that day.

 

first get 55 mage, by using curse or something

then when youre 55, a lil costly but easy item to buy and alch are yew longs. buy 10k yew longs and 10k nats, alch them, rebuy yew long and nats again with the money you got back.

and yes you can get fairly close to 94 mage. 10 mil should be able to buy about 90k alchs using yew longs, which is 5.85 mil xp...

from lvl 55 what will 12mill on high alchs get me ? do you think?

 

i don't know prices of yew longs right now so i'm making a guess.

it should buy about 106k alchs, which is close to 7mil xp... which is almost enough for 94 mage from lvl 55.

if you want to know the exact number of alchs you can get, do this.

look at prices of yew longs, im guessing 650, nats 223 so thats 873 total
i'm not sure on the money you get back from alching it, but im guessing its 760. all these estimates are pretty close, but look up the exact price if you want exact loss on each alch.

873-760 = 113 loss per alch. 12mil/113 = 106k alchs... 106k x 65xp = 6.89mil xp

remember this is an estimate and prices may change since youre not buying all of it in 1 day. with 12 mil, you can start with like 11k yew longs and 11k nats, alch them, rebuy like 10k yew longs and 10k nats the next day (price may change since ge will have updated) and repeat. and youll be buying less and less yew longs and nats after each day of course since youre losing a lil on each alch. if you want to save money, try looking into other items, what ones i'm not sure.

another cheap option to train mage is, curse at soulwars. you can get in like 400 cast per game thats like 12k xp + points (find a tie world)

or another option go to zanaris and alch ruby rings from shop you lose 11gp (depends on how much you get nats for) way cheaper then alching yew longs.

 

I haven't played runescape in a while but i remember enchanting at the mage arena used to be incredibly cheap. I'm not sure if anyone still does that, whether it still gives good exp etc or not.

 

hmm good idea im thinking of spending 10mill on natures which is 50k nature runes enough for 50k alchs to get me 85 mage then just keep alching to 94 =]
