[new]Cheap Onyx gems / furies! [Money making]

The guide is short but, hopefully, understandable

Ok.. I knew this for a while, was using it to get easy and fast tokkul for Dragonstone xfers, but since d stones are nerfed, there is another way where you can use this method - Onyx gem!

Let's start off, YOU NEED KARAMJA GLOVES (any difficulty) FOR THIS TO WORK!
The item that you want to sell to the shop is Tzhaar-ket-om, also known as 'Obby maul'. Note, that this is MUCH cheaper and MUCH faster than Chaos runes or Fire runes or anything like that..

The current price of obby maul in G.E. is ~172k and you get 17500 tokkuls per 1 sell!

The technique for selling is, you need to sell 2 mauls in 1 world, hop to another, sell 2 there and repeat hopping until you're done!
Selling 2 mauls reduces the tokkul by ~1k or less but increases the speed by A LOT..

I've seen people using fire runes or chaos runes too, well this is much faster and cheaper method for ya

After you're done (few minutes excluding the world hopping time) go and get your Onyx gem!

(I'd recomend you making fury out of it, since it costs more and started to raise in price atm)

17 Obby Mauls for D Stones = 2.9M. Sorry buddy.

 

This method doesn't make any money.

 

I did this pre-trade limit update without the GE and made around 5M / day. I don't know how effective it is now, Jagex is really cracking down on methods like this.

I tried it and it works, you need 15 obby mauls for 1 onyx, 15 obby mauls are 2.58m

 

This method used to be infinintely popular when free-trade was around, and chaos were only 94 each. Furies were about 4.4, and people could make 10m+ a day if they did it right. People figured out about Obby mauls, and they rocketed up to like 250k for the next few months. Good guide, profit is low, but you still profit. Obby mauls are hard to buy unless at max, so good luck witht hat too.

I'll do some math just for the hell of it.

You say:

Obby maul = 172k
Sell price = 17,500

Onyx gem = 300,000

300,000/17,500 = 17.142857 (repeating)

18 obby mauls then.

18 * 172,000 = 3,096,000.

Nough' said.

 

ugh, morons.

onyx gems are 258k with gloves. I don't know how many times this must be said.

 

Onyx is about 260,000 when using the karamja gloves
260,000/17,500 (may be more, since using gloves) 14,8571428

15 then.

And so on
