After watching this video I am seriously thinking of becoming vegetarian. I suggest you watch it.

That footage is from the 1980's, I'm told. Even so, it's not that much better today.

But why should you care about the suffering of the animals?

 

And, regardless, animal abuse will happen. It's just a fact. You can choose not to eat meat; that's your choice, I just hope you enjoy taking vitamins daily.

 

Vegetarians don't have to take vitamins.

 

Oh the video is pathetic... I hate these people so much. They use old videos and try to be like look at them abuse animals. If animals are getting "abused", which they are not, then they need to go to the USDA and tell them to do their damn job. I guarantee that stuff doesn't happen in almost all major meat companies. Its funny how PETA always exaggerates things to corrupt peoples minds.

 

I hate animal abuse just as much as the next guy, but I still love a good burger. Thats just me of course.

 

Animals have feelings to,its horrible.

 

I know this is very rare and they are seeking out the worst conditions but still, some of the farms are unhumaine..

I love animals, but I don't like putting much thought into how my food is made. I love burgers and thats really all that matters to me.

I agree with Matt on this one. I don't particularly care the process in which my food is prepared as long as it is in a sanitized fashion and meets all the requirements of the FDA.

 

So if you stop eating meat then this is all solved? Eat your meat or the animals died in vain.

 

You seem to be ignoring what we're saying here. These videos are completely exaggerated.

 

As sad and cruel this is, it won't stop. I can't quite say i'm going to be a vegetarian off this, but I don't think i'm going to eat any chicken. >.> I don't like it anyway.

I don't care about the cows though, I lovvvveeeeeee my chocolate milk, and my burgers.

 

Well, maybe if people reduced the amount of meat they eat, there would be less need for meat...

Yes they are exaggerated, but only to an extent. Some of the clips in the video actually reflect conditions in these farms/slaughter houses. Many are, like the movie portrays, extremely cruel and unhumane. And you have to also take into account that even though some of the events in this video are rare, they did happen...
Atleast if you are going to eat meat, you should get it from a place certified as humane.

 

I Feel very bad, However Animals like this are taken better care of now days. Even if this video is sick; I'm still going to continue eating meat.

And another thing why we kill animals is because if they grow to large in population there gonna die from starvation eventually anyway. Just saying my Opinion do not flame

 

Very much agreed. This sort of thing is very very illegal in the USA. Places such as Mexico or other 3rd world countries do do this though . I also agree that it is a terrible thing, God put animals on the earth to slaughter and eat the meat, but not brutally beaten and mistreated like that. Plus I love a raw, bloody, extra rare steak .

 

I like meat to much to give it up lolz but still it's pretty bad but not everything is like that...
