Introduction:

This Guide is dedicated to:
- People who want to take screenshot for their Runescape Stats.
- People trying to show off their CS account.
- People who hit a 99 and didn't screenshot it last time.
- People who got scammed .

Procedure:

Get Ready To Own!
- Use Gadwin PrintScreen, best printscreen known to earth and guess what? ITS FREE!!! http://www.gadwin.com/printscreen/ to download, make sure to download.
- It has many options to help you i'll be explaining these.

- Hot Key: The key you use to print screen, it is recommand to use a combination meaning ctrl+key or shift+key, in this case key should be F1-F12, do not use F1-F12 ONLY since these keys are usually occupied by other programs.

- Initial Delay: Delays the capture after the HOT KEY is pressed.

- Show Notification Message: Tells you when a Image is captured.

- Preview: Shows you a preview before capturing it.

- Show Splash at start up: Gadwin will show a image of it starting.

- Run at Startup: It will run at start up, I usually have this on so i can capture what i need when i need to, NOTE: The computer image will stop when you capture, you shouldn't do this when in battle or whatever, just a warning .

- Captured Area:
- Current Window: This captures the current window, meaning the tab on - your taskbar that is opened.

- Client Window: This basically prints full screen.

- Full Screen: This prints everything your CPU is showing, sometimes it will show black surrounding, this is not recommended since you will have to chop.

- Rectangular Area: Captures the window that you want, left click -> let go -> drag the rectangle -> right click.

- Capture Mouse Cursor: Click to capture mouse cursor.

- Copy captured area to Clipboard: Basically a preview before it makes the file.

- Copy catured area to printer: A preview before printing.

- Send captured area via email: This will only use MICROSOFT OUTLOOK.

- Ask for the file name after capturing: You will name the image yourself everytime.

- Automatic naming: names the pictures in order, "screenshot 001"

- Type of Image: The format the image is in, .bmp is preferred because of the quality.

- Resizing: Resize the image to the size you want.

- Image Shadow: Shows a shadow on the image, usually gives bad results.

- Stamp: Basically a time stamp, you can change the format, color and Transparency, Adjust the color and transparency according to the image.

You should add an alternative choice. Rather then downloading a program and following all those steps, tell users about the "Print Screen" button. Add pictures to make it more understandable and easier to follow.

I'm sure everyone knows about "Print Screen" thats why i made this guide to help users to take screenshots with out chopping etc .

 

I have never tried this so therefore dont know how long it takes..

but you can use the print screen button and chop it down even on a

simple program like "Paint" theres a million other editing programs too
