How to make your own dedicated VENTRILO GUIDE.

Introduction:

This Guide is dedicated to:
-All those who like to have your own party in the virtual world .
-For those that likes to mob in WOW.
-For those that like to bs people in Runescape.
-For those that ript kids in CS.
-For those that like to play with yourself in your own room.

Restrictions:

I'm sure people are asking how is it possible to make a Ventrilo Server when people are paying money for it, here are some restrictions:
-8 Slots, meaning that you can only have 8 people in your server, it's basically a free trial offered by Ventrilo.
-Your IP will be shown unless you are using proxies to hide your IP.

Procedure:

1. Gathering Programs/IP:
-You will need the latest Ventrilo Server, which is found at http://ventrilo.com/download.php
-You will need your IP, which can be found at http://ventrilo.com/myip.php
2. Setting Up:
-Install the Ventrilo Server.
-Find your Ventrilo Folder, to change your set ups.

-Name is the name of your Ventrilo Server.


-Phonetic is what the Person will hear when he joined the server.
-Auth has 3 different Modes:
When Auth = 0, anyone can join your sever with out a password.
When Auth = 1, everyone needs a password to join your server.
When Auth = 2, eveyone has a specific user/password to join.
-Duplicates has 2 Modes:
When Duplicates = 0, Duplicates are disabled.
When Duplicates = 1, Duplicates are allowed.
-Admin Password, this is what you use to Login into the "ADMIN STATUS" this is not the password you use to join the server, you will make you own password in "USER EDITOR" after.
-Password you will need Auth = 1, in order to use this, after setting this everyone use this password to join your channel.
-Everything under can be ignored.
Joining Your Ventrilo:

After All That Hard Work It's Time to Enjoy!

-You should be all set and you can join your server by now, the port is ALWAYS 3784.
-For Admin and Ventrilo Usage, please visit http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=521725&highlight=Ventrilo+usage
-If you cannot connect to your Ventrilo, you will need to open port 3784, I will be making a guide on how to open a port.
