How to reduce the amount of scammers

    Again I post a suggestion.
I've seen so many scammers lately its ridiculous.

Separate RWT sections into to, Risk takers, And market section.
Risk takers section is for 0-249 post, And the market section
    is 250+ post.

    AND

When you create an account, You need approval to create it.
You code a system to check the IP of the account being created, And
if it matches up with any member, It will be denied, So people can't
    ban evade.

With both of these methods, It should reduce scammers by %45+,
And eleminate ban evaders by %80.

How to reduce the amount of scammers

Did you know that 84% of statistics on the internet are made up?

Post count does not determine trust.

How to reduce the amount of scammers

Of course it was made up, It's called an estimate.

Also, It would help prevent ban evaders making new accounts.
Post count dosn't determine trust, But it stops people from
pulling of quickies (Scams as a leecher).

Though the second part of my idea should prevent scammers
from coming back and making new accounts and scamming again.

I agree 100%. This idea is fail. :p Post count does not show trustworthiness. It is your own fault if you are scammed because you took the risk.. You are on sythe.. you know there is a risk of kids stealing your shyt. Deal with it. :p

Also, if you made this, it would just make more spam for the mods to clean up.

I've never been scammed on Sythe.
The idea wasn't well planned out, I wrote it
after I thought of the iTrader system, Which was a good idea.

My good idea's branch off when I think of something.

How to reduce the amount of scammers

Well I would agree in some aspects. Mainly, it would reduce scamming because most users looking to scam wouldn't particularly wait and post 250 times just to scam, that is what I consider an elaborate scam which most scams aren't. Tbh, I think it would reduce scamming, not by 45%, but something more like 15-20%. I don't think it's that bad an idea. If someone is willing to wait and post 250 which takes about a month than I say he would have scammed anyways. The only downside is that it would increase spam, not insanely, but a decent amount. On the other side of that, the scammer would get banned before he could post 250 times because it would all be spam, so if you're going to spam then the member would be scammed before he's banned anyways, permitting the moderators do their jobs, which they usually do.

theip idea think is greatt but i think sythe can get your ip already if you cant the ip idea would be semi good.

as for post count im goin to have to disagree because post count doesnt show how trusted you are. all guros started as a leecher. in result there would just be sooo much more spam everywhere it would be rediculess.

How to reduce the amount of scammers

Of course they have your IP, But they don't make it
so you have to be approved that you IP dosn't match other members.

This for sure would prevent 90% of Ban Evaders.

Google Dynamic IP's thats what most people have no a days with their qwest service and router. Just about all of the big name companies around the world use dynamic IP's. And those who do not can offer to change your IP with little or no cost to you.

The idea is good, but the basics need to be laid down on a more solid foundation.

Knowing sythe, he wouldn't judge anyone on post count, but I think he should.

And the other update, I think he wouldn't want to make the engine to make the I.P. go through the database.

And with the post count limit, most likely, it will increase spam on threads, but to counter people could just report it more. I'm not sure. I say probable to work, and NO, for it to be updated.

Well, i dont think this will pull through but it will reduce scammers but not for long. and yes if they had to post 250times theyd be banned for spamming already.

No support from me. It will only increase spamming. If there was a "Donators Black Market", then that would be a better idea.

That dumb post count thing is ridiculous.
    There are guru's that scam.
And you should definantly give people who just dont spam everywhere for a post count a chance.
