I think this is an incredibly ludicrous claim.
My mom has literally no effective way of stopping me for searching for porn on the internet.

If she cuts the net, or takes away comp, it's called a tech center, a library, a friends house, anything.

Any blocking programs I'd bypass in less time than it would take to set it up.

If this law get's passed, it will ruin families for no good reason.

If the law is passed, it will probably lead to more sex crimes/sexual acts with the younger age crowd. Not much of a win/win.

And I don't think they looked at the possible sex crimes that porn prevented.

This is stupid. A. Computer=you can really do whatever you want. Go to a gas station, pick up a magazine. In SCHOOL you see it, like Health class. Even some girls with extremely lowcut shirts, who don't wear bras. This is ridiculous, if they pass it it will most definately be appealed. It wont last long.

    Definately no!
I go on it round my mates, at home, my psp etc.
And my parents have no idea. I bypass the anti-virus (found the password).
If my parents got in trouble for me watching porn... LOL I would be so embarresed and guilty.
I think I first watched it at about 12.

What school do you go to?! Lucky :p

@The_0ne, I don't get embarrased saying I watch it, but I guess that's just infront of mates. I wouldn't tell my mum or teachers or anything lol.

What an absolutely ridiculous law. Why must the state keep on trying to position itself between parents and children?

Wow, another idiotic law. You think they would care more about the economy and trying to stop a depression from hitting, but they care about porn lol.

My parents know most likely that I watch it, I mean they do have 4 sons from ages 30-16, me being the youngest at 16. Its just not a topic that is talked about.

Ummm... If parents allow access to porn its abuse? Then having internet in your house is abuse.............. Also... I think what my teachers do is more like abuse... Showing us R rated movies with nudity in them........ :/...

    But... fucking retarded law.

Pretty stupid law, honestly, look at what happens with most laws, THEY ARE BROKEN, same will happen with this one, just because the government tells you not to smoke crack, people do it anyways, so who's to stop you from watching porn?

This is what the state is worried about? Kids watching porn on their computers? Haven't we larger problems, what with the looming depression, etc? This disgusts me.
