Legalize Marijuana?

Yeah well if they make it legal, then theyll have to make cocaine and heroin legal haha. for harder drug users. but still i think they should legalize

 

It´s not only in Amsterdam, also in the rest of the Netherlands. And it´s not completely legal either, it´s tollerated. As a coffeeshop, you are only allowed to sell 5 grams per person per day and the person has to be over 18. There are so many rules.

Dude, look at the Netherlands, here is actually less weed being smoked than in the US. Crime rates are lower and doctors won´t make any extra money from dumbasses crossing the street. They make more money from dumbasses smoking laced crap.

There are almost no recorded accidents involving marijuana. You are overreacting. Just look at the Netherlands (again). There are next to no accidents involving weed, but there are alot involving alcohol. That is because alcohol makes you feel too confident, so you think you are able to drive well, when you can't even walk. Marijuana doesn't do that. And btw, IF you were driving stoned, you wouldn't go any faster than 20 mp/h xD

Smoking marijuana is not suicide.
And why not let people kill themself if they wanted too? It's their life!

If you just eat Marijuana, and don't smoke it, because smoking is bad, then Caffeine and tobacco are worse. Tobacco is actually still worse than Marijuana even if it's smoked. Tobacco can give you gum disease if dipped, and a bunch of other crap because Tobacco has bad chemicals, plus what they add to the cigarette like nicotine makes it worse and addictive. Marijuana is not addictive.

marijuana should be legalised. i mean i got caught with about a 50 bag from the police when they caught me wagging and they let me off. but like it happens so much now. i didnt start smoking weed until about the start of last year and after that i got caught in the toilets with one of my mates. and i turned about 7 of my mates into stoners which i fell bad about now. but when i got caught with my mate and got suspended i lost almost all my friends . the musician and gaming nerd friends. now all i have are my black mates ( not being racist i live in new zealand by black i mean maori) and my stoner mates. and my grandmother disowns me now . so although there are more cons then pros about weed in my life i still believe it should be legalised because it DOES happen everywhere.

 

I think it will get legalized eventually; it's just like alcohol in the 1920's, it's so common and so many people are doing it anyways that it doesn't matter if it's legal or not because so many people do it anyways, so yeah it will be legal maybe in a few years.

 

maybe we should like kidnap the president and the queen and michael jordan and hold them ransom until they legalise marijuana . lol.

 

I am all for of age adults smoking weed. I wouldn't do it though.

 

I heard that they already made a bill to legalize marijuana in California, hopefully it goes through. The only bad thing about pot is that if you get addicted, which is uncommon to get addicted to, you will obviously do it all day every day and long term use leads to brain damage. So if you get addicted you better realize it and go get help.

 

Well it isn't physically addicted but I suppose you could claim it is mentally "addictive". (Just like RuneScape is "addictive")
I live in MA and it is decriminalized if you have under x amount and are not smoking it at the time.

The pulp can be burned as fuel, and the cloth is stronger then cotten and doesn't shrink. It treats tons and tons of diseases, including ADHD, ALZ, diabetes, and much much more. It's impossible to overdose on it, unlike alcohol, pain killers, etc.. It has also been used to help crack cocaine addicts quit, refuting the un-scientifically backed up theory that pot is a "gateway drug". It does not kill brain cells and many rumors about it are false (see external websites). The only reason it is still illegal is because no one has gotten around to amending that law, because anyone with that belief would have no chance in an election, due to the American's societys' and other countries false propaganda being spread about the plant.

well i guess ill have my share, i mean ive had my share with the law.

on friday (december some time) i was pulled over in a car by a livingston county sheriff (near flint michigan) anyway we just picked up a little under an ounce (25.8 grams) anyway we ran a stop sign in front of a sheriff because my buddy was lightin up while driving, anway we were pulled over and he asked me if i was high i told him yeah, and he said is there any weed in the car. i said no, well he found the big bag on the driver and 7.2 grams on me, techniqly it wasent in the car haha! anyway i got a minor in possesion that night and still awaiting a court date. so i wish it was legal so i wouldnt have to deal with the bullshit law. MOTHA FUCK THA COPS

I dont want some crazy ass people everywhere because they are high off weed. If it is for medical reasons Then yes it is understandable. But other than that no.

They should definitely legalize it, unless they put shit in it like they did to Tobacco, like Nicotine, and all those other carcinogens, then it should be completely fine to legalize. I also looked into it about car accidents while high, and it's highly rare to get in a car accident while high, unless you're really high I guess.

I think it should be legal. Look at all the people who are a drain on taxpayers that are in jail right now because of possesion or other crimes related to haveing weed/smoking it. Plus, it would reduce the crime rate selling it in stores and such.
One main reason they don't legalize it is because it would be near impossible for the government to tax it.
