Looking for a free .com web host and design ideas for a forum.

I'm poor so i can't pay. I've always wanted a FREE .com site but they are impossible to find. Sigggestions?

 

Cheapest you can get is like 3 bucks.

 

Register a freewebs site and then link it to a *** site Its free and easier than typing out most site names

 

www.dot.tk is the closet to .com as I know of and its totally free!

you answered yourself, a free .com is impossible... they are intended to cost, you need to pay for them.

 

As they said, .com isn't free... but a *** address is good enough for you since it doesn't seem to be a serious business site.... if it's a business site you better pay for a .com..

 

I've tried to set up tk but i cant figure out how to use it no joke.

set up a site at any free host with a ugly domain name like myname.free.web.blah.com
go to *** and write your ugly address and what *** address you wish to have like mysite.tk and bam, your done..

*** and .co.nr make your site look worse! Not to mention, *** has ads. They both mask your entire site, so you can't use direct links to your site!

If you want to start a website and expect people to visit, then you have to make some sort of investment!

 

Look under a rock. Seriously, free .com domain names won't be free unless it comes with hosting..

 

Godaddy 'nough said. Great set up time, I've seen better control panels, but it's not bad + the dollar domain names if you purchase hosting with it.

 

If you can't figure out how to set up a *** HLD then how do you intend to figure out how to set name servers and such..

 

Plus, those cheesy redirects suck cock. Try getting a .cc domain name. There is a site that gives them away free and it's not just a masked forward.

co.cc is free with free DNS services.

If that is your xbox live account and you can afford to pay $5 a month then you can pay 6.99 at Netfirms.com. They have good service and free who is protection. If you need free hosting I would suggest ismywebsite. Great service, they offer free Cpanel hosting that comes with more than enough bandwidth and space. They are giving me Unlimited bandwidth and space right now.
