Mods vs. Users

I feel that Mods are abusing their power and give no mercy to users at all, in spite of their inferior power. I was browsing through the suggestions forum, and I noticed, ce user was temporarily banned. so wtf? Tgump should have only givened him an infraction not a ban. I'm sure he is opposed to scammers and want to flush out scammers. So on the General side, I want to know if anybody had this incident

(Example: Taking a risk and suggesting something that is a beneficial factor to the community whilst risking their own account too.)

Im sure he did not mean to break the rules
a ban is too harsh because he spends much of his own time helping out the community. his goal was to make sythe a scammer-free place. Banning him will make his hopes fall apart.

 

Mods do not abuse their powers.... We enforce the rules... We are allowed to infract people... If you break a rule, you can get infracted... A build up of them leads to a temp ban... Do not break the rules, you will not get banned... Mods rarely ban you... its normally just a build up of infractions...

So yes, mods should get in trouble for abuse, but what you think is abuse is not abuse... just build up of infractions... :/

You clearly haven't bothered to take the time to read the rules.

Multiple infractions lead to a temporary ban. Did you even allow the idea that an infraction may have resulted in a ban to grace your presumptous mind?

 

In my opinion, the reason why he broke the rule in the first place was because he already knew the inevitable. In my mind Finn, he would sacrifice his account to save the many people who are going to get scammed. And thats that Finn.

 

yea but for what he said shouldnt have been infracted imo he was just trying to make sythe a better place and not just a money making website, just making sythe sound greedy? imo

 

If he doesn't follow the rules, he's infracted accordingly. We do not abuse banning for the sake of it. I checked his profile, and he was infracted, not banned, although the infraction resulted in an automatic ban. Stop throwing around accusations of power abuse when people are only trying to do their job.

You people complain when Moderators are inactive and aren't infracting enough, then you all whinge when they are infracting people.
