I think he can just exist or maybe his power if influence can just be there if you believe in him, it is something like creating yourself, or giving him power, to help you.

No such thing, if there was I would like some evidence not some book that some PEOPLE wrote for shits and giggles.
and isn't it bizzare that people claim that god exists all because
    A. Their parents told them.
    B. The bible says so
    C. They are scared they'll burn in hell so they might aswell believe.

    The Existence of God

One theory I have watched a show on is basically the following... The universe is expanding right now. It will someday stop expanding and start shrinking due to gravity or something... It will keep shrinking until it is basically infinitely small, and infinitely dense basically. Then some thing will cause it to explode starting cycle all over again... One thing that they think might cause "big bangs" are other universes hitting the dense thing or what ever... I saw this show awhile ago... so i may have mis said some things....

The ACCELERATION of the universe outwards has been debunking this so-called oscillating universe theory.

We don't know that this acceleration is permanent.

A powerful, intelligent being that exists in reality. Other attributes can be added or subtracted at will.

    The Existence of God

although i agree with you shredderbeam i do not belive in god
but i do not belive in him just because hes " an invisible man in the sky "
i belive that there is NO higher being then us as humans and {naturally} we are just scared of death and want to belive that there is life after death. in some ways i can belive that we do have sprits / ghosts. because of how strong are mind and spirit is its hard to belive that it can just stop out of nowhere and just be done with.
so all in all i dont belive in god but i somewhat belive in life after death. not just heaven or hell

Yea.. Thats what the theory I am talking about says... That the acceleration will slow and eventually reverse... And start sucking everything back in......

Well of course it's difficult to imagine nonexistence when the only thing that you have any experience of is existence - but how would that imply an afterlife?

i just belive the spirit in our body is too strong to just " die " as our body may die are mind and spirit could live on.

There is no spirit, though. All of the data that we have indicates that our consciousness is a result of our brain's structure, not some undying ghost in the machine.

Listen to yourself for a minute and reflect on what you wrote...you believe? you believe that there are spirits in our body given by god almighty. You sound like a small child who wont let go the idea of Santa Claus being real, "oh I do believe Santa is real, he gives me presents every year, how else can you explain it? it's Santa alright".
Religion like you said is nothing more than a belief, you believe that there is a God..you cant prove it rationally but yah you believe it, if you look at it with common sense u'll see. Dont let religion blind you to the point that you would believe a book over your eyes and brains.

Well, supposedly the universe's expansion should be slowing down, if it was ejected at high velocity, and gravity is the force acting upon it. Instead, it is ACCELERATING, which means that gravity is not the dominant force. And it's negative feedback, the greater the distance, the lesser the effect of gravity.

The oscillating universe theory was once popular, but now seen as quite unlikely by modern physicists and cosmologists - the current estimation of the universe's mass would have to be greater by a factor of 10 for the "Big Crunch" to be feasible again.

Seems vague. After taking out the "supernatural" part, it seems like God can be attributed to quite a bundle of "beings". Perhaps a clear definition should be reconciled?

God does exist, I have no religion, I COULD perfectly explain how god exists but Im not going to waste my time explaining it then having to RE-explain it to those who dont get what Im saying.

Go ahead, explain your logical theory of why God exists. you dont have to retype it, just do it once so I can verbally obliterate you or if you have already written it down somewhere, give me a link.
99.99% sure he will answer something along the lines of....
    1. I wont bother explaining it to you because your stupid.
    2. I dont feel like typing, google the evidence
    3. he just wont respond.

Then please oh please, give me some evidence that does not include a old book written by MEN who were drunk off their ass and thought it would be funny to take a shit on you.
They are probably laughing in their grave's right now.

I on the other hand CAN and HAVE provided evidence he does not exist. Your turn to explain your theory Geico gecko.

Yes, there is another force acting on it, but we don't know that that force won't decay into the future, or be superseded by another.

If and only if the factor causing the expansion is a permanent one, yes.

Fine, just stick back in the supernatural part and we'll start from there. We can move onto other definitions afterwards.

    Can you explain it anyway?
