How to Get Rune Gloves and Addy Gloves at 1 def

managed to get them on my pure with only 2 teleports to atoll. (Took me 5 hours to find 2 tree's)

I had NO Mspeak Amulet, nor Greegree. (I completed MM three years ago, I'm not going to keep useless quest items that long lol)

I did it at 31 prayer tough, and let me tell you; those snakes were fucking hard without prot from melee.

Did about 7 tries with Sharks/Monk fish and super sets (4 snakes constantly hitting 12 hurts) -never died, always managed to get out in time- and finally got 2 lucky 20-20 specs... (I had 2 HP left lol)

Anyways, adamant gloves are a bit overrated tough. You'll only notice the difference once every 5 str levels. (+1 Str for gloves, +5 = 1 more max hit, so it's on average 1/5th of a hit extra) And I think on 99 Str, there is absolutely no difference between the +12 and +13 str bonus from the gloves. I think the break point was on 98 or 97.

Getting adamant gloves now pretty much means you reach the maximum capable hit 1 Str level before you were to have reached it with Mithril gloves.

They look cooler tough ^^

Awww, i'm pretty sure i need prayer for this. I wish i could do it with 1 def and 1 prayer.

Aren't combat/onyx bracelets just as good as rune gloves anyway?

 

Regen bracelet has the same stats as addy gloves but i already lost one pair of dragon claws due to regen protecting over it so addy gloves are great.

 

isnt really cheating tbh..

 

This is amazing and o24'd its more close to a glitch in a way.

Aah thats true, addy gloves are a lot cheaper to lose.


So does anyone know if this can be done without prayer? Or what gloves i could get up to with 1 prayer?

 

dam me and my friend just start pures 2 day.... we gotta hurry our asses up and get stats for mm, do mm then do that subquest before they patch this :S
