wow some people...

well the other day i traded my old 16gb 2g iphone for a blackberry 8900 to some guy on craigslist. we met face to face all was well.
today he texts me and hes like

"you should have told me this phone was jacked up"
i know this phone was working perfectly when i had last used it..which was the day i gave it to him.
i told him that and asked whats wrong with the phone...his response
"im going up to ur house with my bro hes a lapd detective"
i kinda just laughed to myself cuz i know its bs. im 16 fyi
my response to that "haha just because im a kid doesnt mean you can think im that stupid.. dont take advantage of me man"
him: "the ringer doesnt work. im not taking advantage of you. just not happy i gave u a brand new phone"
me: "try flipping the switch on the left side of the phone from orange to black and turn the volume up via the right side buttons"
him: "this stupid phone hasn't rung since i got it"
him 30 seconds later: "oh forgot about that its good. disregard"

normally when i say "lol" it's complete bullshit, but i chuckled at this. i bet he feels like a dumbass

i should've mentioned this in the OP...but the other day he wanted to upgrade to the newest firmware, and he called me. he was so confused and overanalyzing everything i told him so i was just like "if you need further help just google your questions". im not lieing when he said this.."what do you mean...im asking you how to do this".
me "just go on your computer and google your question. i dont know how to make it more clear"
him: "whatever bro i have to go now"

hes in his like late 30s too...i just dont get it

 

Lol, i'd be annoyed if someone kept ringing me asking stupid questions.

I'd tell him to go to a shop that sells them and talk to someone there.

 

next time he asks me something im going to make him feel like such a piece of shit. something along the lines of
"listen i dont want to deal with your questions anymore you technologically challenged prick. if you can't handle this technology then why did you want it in the first place?"

Goes to show that some people like to complain over the stupidest things. He should have fiddled with the phone first before complaining to you and threatening you with the LAPD, haha.

 

Lol, that's pretty funny. I could picture somebody buying an IPhone and having no idea how to work it. Personally, I own a Blackberry. I enjoy it but I would rather get the IPhone, so I'm thinking about selling my Blackberry to fund the IPhone purchase.

 

was the other way around for me
i got extremely bored with it. the apps and stuff were fun for like 3 months. then the touchscreen just got annoying and just wanted a diff phone. another reason was that it ran out of space for my music.
