    CPU usage.

Hey guys. I've noticed that RSBOT uses like 10-20% CPU.. can that harm my computer nor make it slower in the future?

    Thanks.

10-20% cpu is nothing. even if it used 100% i wouldnt worry too much.
they are built to handle it.

    CPU usage.

it just means it generates a little more heat. its totally normal.

you could also remove dust etc from the fan. open comp and screw off fan.
this might make it even cooler for the cpu and therefore less noisy fan

If you use a program like coretemp and you can see how how your CPU is. Then when its under 60 at 100% load your ok ;)

I used to run about 15 bots and wouldn't even reach 100% cpu i guess it depends on your computer specs but i don't see how it could be harmful.

10-20 is nothing, it shouldn't be that much tho unless your computer sucks, most fps games such as Counter strike takes like 20-40.

I also don't see how working your fan so much at 100% CPU usage it catches your mother board on fire can harmful either.

If you use to much CPU for to long, and your fan has a lot of dust and dead bugs and crap (There is most likely more than you think inside of it, I clean mine a lot.) it can catch your motherboard on fire.

There's viruses that disable fans completely, and then you WILL catch on fire after a bit.

But at 20%, no, you wont catch on fire, the fan wotn break.
Unless it's a really, really bad fan.

No chances are that your motherboard will rarely ever catch on fire, because most cpu's are designed to shutdown once they reach a certain temperature, which will cause your whole computer to shutoff and you will be unable to start it until your cpu cools down.

10% of your cpu is nothing at all.

    CPU usage.

Your computer CAN be damaged from your CPU running too hot without it "bursting into flames"... overheating can damage the chip. The fan on my old computer died, and the CPU actually died because of the heat damage. However, as people have said, it takes far more than 20% of CPU usage to get anywhere NEAR that hot.
