I like it but why the outline on the silhouette it really takes away from the piece.

The outline on the image, just makes it stand out more. If that was the look you were going for, good job.

 

the outlining just doesn't exactly look good. You should have smudged to the right as that's where the focal is based. The pentooling could be improved, and you should have done more of a luminosity lighten layer type of thing. How you could improve it is on the layers before the pentooling do a gradient map black and white and set that layer to luminosity, and make 2 new bg color layers with the colors 292929 and 1b1b1b and set them both to lighten. It's okay though, yet I still wouldn't rate it near a 9. It's about a 7/10 imo. If you look at it, you have light going all around the sig, when you should just look at the focal and determine where the light source on it is coming from.

I'd give it a 9/10. Hillary Duff is sexy.

 

I'm getting horribly bored of the whole glowing lines thing now. It doesn't make your signature make any more sense... Focus more on creating flow, depth and emphasizing lighting.

 

Lmfao... the focal is Keira Knightley, not Hilary duff.

 

I like the effects on the render, but the background is lacking

they are two different styles that don't fit together
