Playstation 3 vs. XBOX360

I would say PS3 to avoid the... xboxlive payments, but if you like competitive online playing Xbox360 has a better online multi player.

I have a Ps3 and i have only used a 360 a few times i was wondering should i buy a 360 aswell? People at my school say i should but im not sure..?

I still like my Ps3 alot tho graphics are really good compared to my Wii lol.

 

Gonna have to go with PS3 since my 360 just got the red ring of death or whatever, Plus Killzone 2 is out.

Xbox is faulty in older consoles. I just scorched my 2 1/2 - 3 year old xbox with a hairline crack between GPU/CPU fans so it overheats but I have a new xbox elite. Sony is a shitty company I have a sony 52" Widescreen projection tv thats fucked. I also have a sony DVD player that eats the shit outa cds plus my SONY surround sound i got from wrights sound gallery. they do not prefer sony over most products. Xbox 360 Is my opinion, yet I have not seen to many PS3 features.

The only good thing I like about the PS3 is the Blu Ray.

 

Im going for the PS3 And i saw some game-news and there saying that sony i needing to making the ps3 cheaper or game companies dont make any games for the ps3 so i think the ps3 is going to get cheaper

Although I don't personally own either, I would say the XBOX 360 is better based on games, online play, and accessories.

 

PS3 all the way. The only thing anyone ever has against PS3 is the price and the games. The actual console is ftw.

I personally only bought a 360 because mainly all of my friends have one and not many have a ps3.

To sum it up .. basically, they are equal, except IMO 360 has a few more better games (including exclusives such as halo) and has a LARGER community and it is more common among gamers, hence it is more popular.

 

I have had both and i like the Xbox 360 more.
However i sold both because i can't get used to console gaming.
So

PC > Xbox360 > PS3

 

They're both very good consoles. I'm sick of this console fan-boy crap.

I'm a 360 owner because I can't see myself saving AU$700 for a PS3.

360:
Advantages-
Huge game library
Bigger range of down loadable content including arcade games.

Disadvantages-
Masses of Hardware problems
You have to pay for online
It's Microsoft and no one likes Microsoft because they suck arse.

PS3:
Advantages-
Lots of fantastic games coming out for it (Killzone 2, infamous, God of war 3)
Good graphics
Blu-ray player (I own a proper blu-ray player, and they are very good)
Free online
1 -> 3% failure rate (which is low)
Technology is better, and it will probably live longer then the 360 (Like the PS2 which is still going strong after 9 years).

Disadvantages-
Expensive
Smaller game library (although it is growing pretty fast).
Pretty much requires a HDTV.

It's all up to personal opinion on what console to buy.

 

Teh 360, More and better games..
Less expensive, and more people have it compared to the PS3, meaning better online play.

 

Dude there only AU$400 and if you get a special you cann get some good games with a pack.
