Wooblah1's Guide to Money Making Using The Great Orb Project


This method is old but haven't seen anyone posting it.

Requirements- 50 Runecrafting

About
This guide is written for 50/50 games of The Great Orb Project (for more information talk to the Wizards. For those who don't know what 50/50 is, one team wins 3 altars the other wins the other 3. Therefore the game is a tie and every gets equal amount of tokens.

GETTING THERE
To start off go to the Wizards Tower (Near Draynor Market), second floor. The portal leads to the minigame/guild (or use RC Guild Teletab). Talk to a Wizard and "join game"

A good world for 50/50 is World 7, join cc "Amayadawn"

HOW TO GET MAX POINTS
Attract of Repel at least one orb every altar except !one!. Why one? Total Number of altars - 1 = The amount of altars in which you have to interact with the orb to receive max points. This will get you 470 tokens in F2P and 630 in P2P.


MATH
It takes roughly 15 minutes to wait for and to finish a game in F2P.
4 games per hour, 1880 tokens in an hour.
It takes roughly 20 minutes to wait for and to finish a game in P2P.
3 games per hour, 1890 tokens per hour.

Exhange your points with Wizard Elriss


F2P
For F2P I suggest you accumulate a fair amount before redeeming as the item you'll buy doesn't stack. F2P buy water talisman. 4k ea for 50 tokens. That means 9 tally which equals 36k per round. Buy the talismans teleport to bank then use RC teletab to come back to Guild.

P2P
For P2P you should buy Pure Essence/ You can only buy Pure Essence in Members World. Pure Essence is one token each and is worth 132 gp each. It is in NOTED form.

132 * 1890 = 249k/h

RC GUILD TELETABS ARE 15 TOKENS EACH AND TELEPORT YOU DIRECTING INTO THE GUILD.

Nobody is going to go through all the time to get 50 Runecrafting and is very time consuming if you mine your own Essence. Eats up your money if you buy Essence. 2/10

 

this guide would be good for me since im 85 rcing but i could care less about making money when i got a phat set and 13 santas

You have to attract your orbs of you team color into the altar. There are two teams, yellow and green. You are given 3 wands. Attract, repel and shield.
When you wield the Attracting wand it attract the orbs. Repelling wand repels and shield wand makes a one squared shield. You manipulate the orbs into the altar in the middle. In a 50/59 game. One team deliberately wins 3 games and the either team wins the other 3 games. This makes it a tie and everyone gets an equal amount of tokens.

Elaborate? This a guide for people who already have 50 runecrafting. 50 is low compared to 60 for Yews or 60 for Mining Guild.
You don't need Rune/Pure Essence. You 'get' Pure Essence from the Minigame.

Nope, you get pure essence. Thats the point. Pure Essence is 1 tokens each and at 132gp each it accumulates.

 

Great guide, old method, but it isn't very commonly used or known about.

 

Mostly because Runescrafting is long and boring.

lol not even joking i have a guide on this in word i was about to post anyway yea i make around 198k an hour doing this in f2p and its great money you dont need ess to play it and yes u get experience,i starte playing at50 rc im now 57 just playing the game,iv made around 4mil off it and i have all the robes and a tally staff,this is great money all u f2pers the time for 50 rc is worth it and i have nohing else to say except that "amayadawn" is the clan i 50 50 with theyre pertty good with it and 9/10 on the guide loved it and now this post is way to long so......bye?

 

This one is good. You can't mine 1800+ pure essence in an hour. Nice find.
