Lock the "Report a spammer" forum

I'd like to suggest the only way you can make a thread in the "report a spammer" forum is via the red triangle button on posts. Remove the "New thread" option in the report forum.

Why?

1. You wouldn't be able to make false reports / edits.
2. All reports would follow the regular format.
3. If a post is deleted / edited before a Moderator sees it, they could still be infracted if reported before the edit.

I support if people can still report with the triangle. I see no point in being able to make a thread.

Couldn't you just change it so a bot posts it for you? so like whatever is inputted into the red triangle field Sythe_Spammer_Bot will make a new thread with all dat shit.

 

Right now if you use the red triangle button to report a thread, it's already formatted correctly. All you need to input is why you're reporting. What I'm suggesting is that in the report a spammer forum, where these reports go, we remove the "New thread" option. This would make it so the only way to report is via the red triangle.

 

I support. But people may not know how to report. I suggest this be done, and a sticky made by a staff member to teach how to do it.

I support this as well, people shouldn't be able just to post a thread in the dispute forum. If it's locked then the only way to report a post is by clicking the red triangle, which is much safer.
