I voted drums. A lot of my friends are guitarists, but most of them know the drums.

 

Definately Guitar, it seems that everyone I know has at least a guitar and wants to jam with me (I play drums btw). Too bad most of my friends aren't that good.

 

Overall in society I'd say the piano. The guitar's more of a younger-person instrument.

 

Acustic guitar.
In my opinion, everyone I know that has a guitar.
Its acustic.
Personally I like the sound of an acustic, but I much perffer eletric.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Flute was though, i remember in primary school it was a requirement to play the flute in music class and so ofcourse everyone had one.

 

I would say either piano or guitar.

I play flute, I have a guitar but it's too hard for me to memorize although I believe it is the most popular instrument. I want to buy drums but I can't find stores with it, still searching though.

I think peoples own voices are there most played instrument, but besides that, i know a hell of a lot of people who own/play guitar.

 

I'd say deffinetly the guitar. It seems that everyone I know has owned a guitar once, thinking it will be awesome until they realise it's hard and quit. I won't lie I've gone through that too
