Need some help with the quest 'Lost City'

My level 52 just started Lost City, I have 40 def, 42 HP and 10 mage.
What mage level would be good to fight the spirit at, and roughly how much of each runes would I need and what type of food?

 

You can use the obstructions by the tree to kill the spirit.

You will see it when you get there, will just take some extra time since you have a low level.

 

The what?

 

There is a place in the back where you can safely mage it, take some lobsters with you (sharks if you can afford) and then the amount of runes I do not know

If you get 13 you can use Fire Strike, you will beable to hit 8 with this, the tree spirit probally has around 90hp and will probalby have good mage defence. I would suggest around 200-300 just to be safe and should be relitivly cheap, you will not be able to bring a staff to the island.

 

Get 13 mage, then mage him. There is a safespot you can hide behind. You should have no problems with the quest, since my lvl 8 friend did it. Just remember, no staffs on the island.

 

you can just use range..
bring a bow (u) and some bs..

than bring 200 arrow heads and 200 shafts (f).
than just range'em

 

There is a "root" that you can go behind and safely mage it , without taking any damage from it.

You can ice barrage it and it won't be able to hit you. I did it on my 80.
