Because of people like you, very uneducated. If you knew anything about the past centuries, you would know VERY well why there are child labor laws.

Kids used to work at the age of 8-10, 10 hours a day.

Anyways, work permits are issued at the page of 16, and you can get a job then. If not, ask your mom for a paypal and do some stuff online and you can rake in some money.

This is the funniest quote I have read today
Thank you for bringing laughter to my day.

Anyway, I found that doing work around the neighborhood is always the best option because there is usually something that needs to be done (usually with lawns or driveways) and it's consistent.

Suggestion... Family, Neighborhood Jobs.. Such as Lawn mowing, Babysitting, Dog Walking, etc.

Most teen at the age of 13-16, are believed that their uneducated and have no self control to handle a job, yet in fact that most people who are beneficial and "Smart" to get hired at a job. Co-sign don't help when applying.. Most likely, if your likely to apply for a place to go, Avoid Fast Food restaurant, its good to work in a clothing store or engineer labor such as repairing small types of Machine. Just make sure, your first impression is your best.

You can legally work at 14, most places won't hire you, though.

Secondly, more teens don't realize the amount of work and effort you actually have to put into a job. A lot of kids then quit or start slacking when the work gets tough, therefore discouraging companies from hiring younger people.

You should be able to apply at some of the grocery store chains such as Krogers, Albertsons, etc. Last time I checked, they hired at 15.

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend going on Craigslist and check out the "Help Wanted" under the jobs/services category.

Good luck finding some work. I'm trying to do the same thing. o_O

Not every job is for 16+.
Really it depends where you live.

    McDonalds 15+
    Publix 15+
    WinDixies 15+
    etc, etc..

    Search, and search.
Maintain steady grades, and apply for a job,
    make them want you there!
