Now, you tried to instill alot of rules onto the IRC, it was "Official", but with your request of these rules, we broke off.

Why not demand the same for Vent? I see tons of abuse. J a K e Y got banned by Inventor/ethan for no reason(according to jakey)

I see more abuse going in there.

Instill these rules in there, or allow us to have our IRC back?

 

Just to point out, Inventor also globally muted me, insulted me (homophobic insults), then proceeded to ban and deadmin me. I'm sure there'll be a few willing people who witnessed this.

 

Correct, i got banned for nothing. I got made Admin then Ethan was like you are pretending to be Admin and trying to change things and banned me.

I second this, i unmuted him.

 

I've seen a lot of abuse in there, and rules are never enforced in Ventrilo.

I was wondering if the same thing would happen to Ventrilo, as Cfrey has abused his power in there many a time. I have picture evidence of all the times he tried Banning me the other day, and Giddy was a witness of that.

There should just be certain Admins for Ventrilo, Admins on Sythe should be Admins on Ventrilo etc.

I am not a Server Admin in Ventrilo, and I've never held power in there. I'm quite confused.

Yeah but the difference is that Sythe isn't the one controlling whether people connect to the ventrilo or not...

 

It does use a DNS however if it's still considered official...

 

Sythe is certainly advertising it, and only Users from Sythe join it.

Maybe if we just stick to a couple of Ventrilo Admins it will be fine.

 

So the only solution is to not be affiliated with Sythe and then the same people use it... Sounds good to me.

 

Me too. But you can't have one set of rules for one set of people-IRC- than completely negate them for others-Vent-. It's like old-style racism.

 

Just to confirm we figured this out and it's just mibbit that still lets irc.sythe.org work for some reason. DNS has been removed.

 

Maybe bans for repeat affenders..

 

You guys need to chill out, its his vent, he paid for it, so he can do whatever the fuck he wants on it.
