Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, my friend originally was sniped for it when he tried to transfer it to his ironman.

We looked for months and finally found who sniped it. Someone called Colt sent us this and proceeds to show us in-game. [Redacted]

 

Him showing proof will not make it non-sniped. The name is still sniped, it has just been traded between multiple people after the snipe.

 

Proofs of purchase were just given.

How am I suppose to know if your friend got sniped for it many months ago @Grimm0612 ? We do try our best to keep a list of all stolen/sniped names which I check most of the time before buying a name and that name is 100% not on the list I have and wasn't on any other Avoid lists.

There was few instances in the past where I bought a stolen name without knowing and with the proof of the person I had given it back for free. When someone comes up to me saying his name was stolen, I ask them proofs of ownership and if ever I find their names being around for sale I anti-scam them if possible.

I've anti'd almost 10b worth of names with the help of our little community. If a name is stolen I'm not buying it, I try my best to give it back to the true owners.

If no1 warns us we can't know, hundreds of names are being offered to us every single weeks.

Other people warned you about this as well, including Assassin. Still you decide to sell scammed/sniped names.
