Bounty and the Future of RWT

Well now that Bounty Hunter is closed and all the little noobs whining about not being able to buy gpzz. I'm just trying to make it clear that Real world trading will never die out.

For example, the Uncut Dragonstone method was an excellent way of evading the trade limits. Although it was fixed, over 2bill gp was transferred this way in total.

There will always be ways to bypass Jagex's anti-RWT efforts. May it ever come to a stage where there are no loopholes. Bugging will still provide the best way to transfer gp.

About 6 months ago, myself and a school mate were looking for a bug that could ultimately open the gate to unlimited gp transfers again. We found it in a bug that involved Jagex's own anti RWT efforts. The very thing stopping us from trading provided a hole through the system.

Enough Yapping on about that, I'm not going to release any futher information on how it was done. But I will say that the method was patched unintentionally a week later when another update came out.

Why RWT using bugs if you could item dupe from them instead?
The problem is, bugs which allow dupes are much harder to find and are often fixed extremely quickly after being found.

RWT Bugs
Real world trading bugs don't neccisarrily mean very complex ones, simply errors that were made when perhaps entering the price of an item at a store, a drop rate of an item from a monster, GE price bugs and many other things. It's almost garuneteed on a new update that there will be dozens of bugs in it. All you have to do is when an update is release go there/try the update for a few minutes experimenting with it.

I was wondering around in bounty hunter last week just watching some kills to get some tactics. Now this was at a time of day when bounty hunter is least populated. Wearing my full rune, with no amulet as I had only a fury in the bank. Some level 122 casually comes up to me and says ,
"Can you protect me while I transfer some stuff to my customer?"

I didn't respond and he asked me again, so I just decided to follow him. A few minutes later a guy logs in and starts walking around with a Sara set. This is where it got pretty funny. They start talking..
"How much for this set again?"
"Uhmm.... $4.00 per set, and your buying 24 right?"
Comeone what the hell! are you thinking guys. At the time there was a JMod following me around as I followed those two idiots. You guys are probably thinking lol ,it must be those asain gp farmers. Right... Guess what they started talking about next.
"Vouch me once you get the set, and then vouch again after each set on my Gp thread.
"Alright lets get this trade done."

I look through the gp sales section a few minutes later and see a vouch on someone's thread for selling a Sara set for $4.00. I'm not going to point out who it was, as I don't remember but you probably know who you are you can proudly say " I contrubuted to fucking up Bounty Hunter "

Chances are the Jmod which was following you guys reported this activity. Now I'm not saying it was because of this single trade. But it happens every day, there isn't even an attempt to conceal whats going on..

Bounty hunter will be tweaked to the point where it's going to be absolutely horrible. All I can say is, Good Fight Jagex. The RWT community proudly screwed ourselves over.

Just bare in mind, Keep your RWT methods to yourself for all those who find them. Your method might be one of the few ways RWT can still and will be done for weeks to come.

People who don't follow the rules of rwt bounty hunter have ruined it.

 

Wow i just realised BH was closed.

But this might be a good thing, they said they said the target thing was fucking up. Maybe there will be no target system, 1 on 1 with no target 2 on 1 gang up will make RWT'ing easier. Closer levelling system might make it easy too, if you're a low level you don't have to worry about getting killed by people 30 levels higher. The max it might be might only be like 10 levels.

Who knows, the updated BH version might be easier to RWT in than the old version.

 

I agree methods should be kept to trustworthy people who won't leak them or post guides on how to abuse them as jagex will always find out.

 

Doubt so. They will make everything to make it harder. At least till now they did so. They never made it easier for us.

And I'm thinking about those methods now. Maybe there should some kind of elite traders who would share that method of transferring gp and use it only when they have full control of both accounts, though it would need some kind of picking up out of members. There was some kind of organization that was picking out some people with applications and stuff. I remember that I was too late to give an application there..

 

I'll write up another bitch section in the morning on the D stone method.

Yeah really, everything in bh was a bit too open. you see dumbasses not even trying to hide that they're rwt, just the full sara, no wepon, no ammy, how dumb is that? then you hear converstation going "you better not scam!" lol.. people get dumber and dumber.

When a new method hits the streets, it'll just be for R2P and people like that, and probably wont get released, dont count on doing your own transfers for a damn while haha..

It says temporary Closure of the Bounty Hunter Craters so its not gone forever, i think they just fix that u cant take god items/trimmed items there.. or then they put 3k limit.. lulz

 

I sold my account to someone, only transferd 1 sara set yet
3 more sets to go, and i can't what am i supposed to do now..

Well in my position even know he only gave you 1/4th of what was supposed to be the price if bounty is fixed and you can no longer xfer i would have to accept it and give him the account as there is noway to give his money back he already paid therefore you would be scamming him.

 

Jagex aren't idiots. There are plenty of other items to RWT with. Take Corrupt Dragon for example, and that's just talking about F2P.

Essentially you're trying to say they will cap the amount you can bring in. Maybe 5M on P2P, 1M on F2P. I personally feel that this will not be the case, but it is a possibility.

 

Yeah thats what i've been saying all morning.. Not like they're having a cuppa tea in there. They're trying to fuck everyone over at once. My guess is, if they know mills purchace price and selling price, they'll make drops 50% of the value on the person, that way cutting out the GP resellers profits..

 

I was looking around the Runescape forums, and allot of people are suggesting that their going to make it strickly Target Vs Target like dual arena kind of system. Also your combat level might determine what you can take in.

 

Would still be pretty good i never xfered through bh anyways so i'm not complaining if it's patched but i would like to fight my own level without being pjed that would amazing.
