[Denied] Actively ensure all approved pardoned users their profiles get unbanned

This is quite a gap in terms of scammed users receiving their funds. I think the ruling currently stands that when someone with multiple banned profiles successfully pardons, the one they pardon from/for gets unbanned/unDNT'ed, whereas the others remain banned. The bans/DNT's of those can be lifted aswell, but I'm fairly certain this is only done when asked for.

I think this way alot of people are missing out on repayment. Alot of people request pardons after realising their retarded mistakes but when they do so only their active profile gets unbanned. Here are some examples of pardons that were approved but only their active profile was unbanned:

Run Antimatter - Remove ban and request pardon
Admhire-Repardon
Zegggz - Pardon for blackhat 2011

This was only taken from the first 3 pardons of this year who had multiple profiles. Those are still banned or DNT'ed.

Now let's take one of @Admhire his profiles, @Charlieb1212 for example. He made this scam report (Impure is a Scammer, (Proof)(Pictures)) on it. Now let's imagine the accused on there, @Impure, requesting a pardon. He'd need to repay this, but the OP/scam victim is banned. Not a single staff member would actually look into who OP is and/or if he ever pardoned, therefore Impure would have to repay to community repayment funds "as his scam victim is banned".

There's no perfect solution for this as staff can't be bothered to actually do some research prior to receiving the funds. I would however suggest to have all profiles unbanned/unDNT'ed when they successfully pardon, maybe even at the state when they repaid all their scam victims, so that when/if they were ever scammed they atleast get a chance at getting refunded (for example when staff PM's the user in question).

 

This is a really good point, especially considering we should maximize the likelihood a scammed user gets reimbursed as best we can. However, I think that can be accomplished by either changing the banned user’s UT or simply having a moderator post on their profile page regarding their current active profile. This way, it’s very apparent to any staff member looking into those profiles if they can deliver retribution to someone. Also, I don’t think those accounts should be unbanned just based on principle, considering how much we emphasize not creating more than one Sythe account and ban evading.

 

I don't really think this needs a suggestion, if they pardon that should be all that they need for any account to be unbanned...
