Getting a new Laptop

Getting a new vista laptop, 160 gig, good specs etc.

Any essentials i should download? I wna use it to its best abilitiy.

 

Why does everybody buy windows laptops anymore..?

Buy a Apple Macbook for $1,000 and stick windows vista on that bitch.

I'm on a macbook right now.

 

Not helpful at all seeing as im collecting it on friday, already purchased..

 

In technology section I remmember their used to be a thread will all the things you should have.

Make sure you have:

- Google Chrome/FireFox
- LimeWire/BitTorrent/Etc.
- Decent Virus Protection
- HomeKeyLogger; (Make sure nobody uses your computer)

Go get 'em !

 

Well, personally if I was the one to obtain that laptop I would download these.

• FireFox (Latest version can be found at their website http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
• Avast Anti-Virus (Best free anti-Virus system out there!)
• Microsoft Office
• Latest version of Java
• AdobeReader

It all depends really on what you plan on useing.
Such as if your planning on chatting with fellow sythe members.

• AOL Instant Messenger
• MSN
• Skype
• Ventrillo
• mIRC

Perhaps your more into music?

• iTunes
• Limewire (I recommend the LEGAL version)!
