A guy rides into town with his horse on friday, and leaves 3 days later on friday. How does he do this?

 

it takes him 4 days to get to to town

No it doesnt lol.. He rides into town on friday? He is already in town so it doesnt take him 4 days to get there.. and he leaves on friday(the horse)...

Many riddles rely on a play on words. If you take it literally that he rode INTO town on friday, then yes, you would be right.

However, when you are going into town you don't say on the way there, "I left to go to town but i'm not there yet but I plan on being there soon!" You say "i'm going into town," and much like the riddle says, he's going into town. Meaning that he could have taken 4 days to get to town and still be "going into town."

Also, you don't know the difference between your and you're. So, you're the idiot.

So jsut because i spend 5 seconds typing something up instead of spending 5 minutes like you, making sure everything is perfect, i just write whatever comes first..

So be honest, how long did it take you to perfect your post to make sure you had no grammar mistakes?

Good for you, I would be in AP english as well if my school offered it. It doesn't take me any time at all to perfect my posts because it's just the way I type. Always have, always will.

I understand what the answer is supposed to be, but I am just trying to get it thought your thick adolescent skull that that can be more than one answer to the riddle.
