Hello,
I really need a PayP acc to do deals and stuff.
1) Is it illegal to have one coz im under 18?
2) How can I put cash on it if I get one?

Oh yeah and I'm in the UK so I dunno if that's different or what, but can I xfer from UK to US?

 

I'm no PayPal expert but I do know that you have to be at least 18 to make an account, so I guess it is illegal.

You can fund your account with your bank account or you can use your credit card to pay and yeah you can xfer between accounts no matter the country.

A) Yes, you should be 18... but you don't have to. You can always lie about your age I suppose.

A) By having someone send a payment to you, or putting a Bank Account or Credit Card on your account.

 

It is illegal but over 90% of sythe are probably under 18 and use it but dont use paypal... its shit. Use western union. Also in order tofund ur paypal u can get a payment or just add a bank or credit card

I dont have a bank card, i got a bank account obviously, but im still under 16 and its some shitty child one that gives me loads of interest (like £100 a year atm).
Im gonna have a look at WU, its just more people accept paypal.

 

You have to be 18 but it doesn't matter much as I made mine when I was 14.
It's easy to put money on it, you just have to register your bank account on it. When you have given all the details, they will send you two small amounts of money (ex.: $0.18 and $0.31) and you'll have to confirm that you have received both amounts of money and that's it.

 

Personally, I'm 17 and my Dad knows about my paypal account. I have my own bank account, debit card, and paypal. I take care of all my assets myself

I've dealt with paypal on many occasions (especially on the phone) and was never asked my age

If you can avoid using paypal, by all means do. I recently heard about a fairly new site called paypaY.com but I'm not quite sure how good or not good it is.

If you're trying to get funds on a paypal, you're best of having a bank account and/or credit card/debit card added to it as well.

Always supply real info (unless you need to bump age a few years to make an account) and you won't have problems.

 

Well since you don't live in the united states, I suggest using Moneybookers.

Paypal can cause many financial problems for you in the future, and it is very fustrating.

People constantly take their money back, so that is another problem.

I suggest to you to avoid paypal by all means, but no, you don't need to be 18.

 

ok guys thanks for all your help, but it looks like im stuck till my parents trust me with a debit card or my bank acc details etc.
and i got some child acc that gives me lots of interest which is good and bad coz i cant take stuff out of it...
