Micro-Dermals! (Piercings)

Does anyone know much about these? Can they be placed anywhere on your body? Whats the difference between a needle and a dermal punch etc. I just watched a video of it on youtube with a dermal punch and i felt light headed after seeing it... I can watch anything fine, people getting their heads cut off etc, doesn't bother me. But something about this piercing just doesn't sit right with me but i kind've want one (i really wanted one until i got the light headed effect from that youtube vid, maybe i'm just too tired).

Does anyone have one? Are they painful? Are they uncomfortable to have in your skin? What does it feel like when you change the end on it?

Finally, has anyone ever got one removed?

Well i think all piercings are wrong. Also, if it makes you feel light headed, dont get one. Its going to hurt.

 

I used to think that too originally. Then i wanted a piercing for once in my life, i got snake bites then after that i've constantly been wanting a new and unique piercing. So i'm thinking of 2 microdermals on either side of my middle knuckle on my hand. Like 1 cm back from the knuckle on the top part of my hand. For some reason that sort of piercing just appeals to me, but microdermals seem a bit gross, uncomfortable and painful. Since its on my hand i doubt it'll be that painful compared to the ones people get on their face.

 

That would be pretty sweet, it might hurt a little though.



I've only got my ears gauged at a 4g right now, hoping to go to 0g then stop there.

How can piercings be "wrong"?

Piercings don't hurt at all either. I was told that, but really, it's something of a pinch and then the area might throb, but that's it.

 

Thats ear piercings that feel like that.

With dermals they poke a needle through your skin to make a hole, then they put a piece of metal through that hole and adjust it into the right spot then they screw on the end. So i don't think that feels like a bit of a pinch .

No gauges aren't that bad. At worst, your ear will be hot for a while

I think I'll stay with size 8 gauges and snake bites. I would rather not have a needle go through me and then I feel way light headed.

 

ive done it to my left ear and it didnt hurt much. At first it feels hell of a scary, but just pretend nothing is happening and it will just sting for a few seconds. if girls can do u, im preety sure u can do it.

Okay, i edited my first post to add on this video and picture. This is NOT the video that made me feel light-headed. The video that made me feel light-headed was someone getting a microdermal on their face. This is just on their wrist, you don't see the needle go in for this one. Yeah, I'm really not into getting any piercings.... I like my body the way it is without anything on it

 

A piercing is poking through the skin and inserting a bar, now their inserting metal objects in the wrists for piercings, wow.. lol
