Selling my 4-digit Steam Account for $50

    Friends,

This is my personal Steam account. I created it in 2003 when Steam was first released to the public, but I have since moved on to other priorities in my life that do not include gaming. Upon finding out that Ebay frowns upon selling accounts or digital property of any kind, I have found my way to this forum.

I sincerely hope that this account will find its way into the hands of a fellow competitive gamer. A low Steam ID is a great deterrant to excessive disputes against you. It also generates a lot of attention, if that's something you're looking for. This account is not banned by CEVO, ESEA, CAL, or any gaming league.

    Transaction requirements:

    • You will make the first step (ie, payment to me)
    • I will only accept payment by Paypal (Verified accounts only, please)
    • Your only means of communication with me will be by email and this thread
    • If you're going to attempt to scam me, please be creative

Account games included, details, and proof:

    Games Included
    Steam ID Proof
    Account VAC Status

    Price:

The minimum I am willing to sell this account for is $50. This price may go up depending on demand. I will update this thread periodically to reflect what others are offering for it.

    Contact me privately at:

    [email protected]

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions/concerns. Thank you.

The weird email was created solely for this transaction. It is a dummy account I am using so that none of my personal information can be traced back to the Steam account I'm selling. (Yes, Valve employees are most likely aware of this forum).

I will not use MSN. You can contact me privately at my email address. I will also not allow the use of any MM. I hold myself to a high level of integrity, and I will do everything in my power to ensure your satisfaction. If you do not trust my integrity and believe that I will scam you, please do not make an offer.

If anything's fishy, it's trying to sell a 4-digit Steam account for over $200 like you're trying to do. You're not only clueless, but you're also trying to shit up my thread for your own selfish benefit.

If you're interested in buying a 4-digit for a good price, please post. If not, please do not.

I thought 4 digit accounts were people who registered back in 1999 - 2000. Correct me if I am wrong but, I registered a 6 digit back in September 2002, by the time it was 2003, only seven digits were avaliable.

And isn't a little suspicious that a leecher wants you to go first without an mm on email?

You have been misled. Steam's initial (non-beta) release to the public was 12 September 2003 according to this source. I registered this account on that night of release. Please research the commodities you sell before selling them.

Put yourself in my position. I only intend to sell this one account and then I will never post here again. This is one time deal, and my method of transaction leaves me with almost zero chance of getting scammed. Once again, if you do not trust my integrity and believe I wish to scam you, then do not make an offer.

Are you seriously suggesting that if I had asked for, say, $150 dollars you would find it less fishy? You've embarrassed yourself enough. Please remove yourself from my thread.

This is not true, Counter Strike was created before steam was out, when you register the account. You get a unique id from Valve/Sierra themselves, this has nothing to do with steam or anything whatsoever. I know this because I have a friend who registered his 4 digit back 1999, so please stop telling me bullshit and trying to scam these people. You can easily use a trusted mm but your not willing to. Anyways, good luck selling your "account."

Again, your friend has misled you. Before Steam was released, Valve used the unique World Opponent Network (WON) system. On 31 July 2004, the WON system and its unique IDs were officially replaced with Steam Accounts and unique Steam IDs. WON IDs are not Steam IDs. Steam IDs didn't officially come into existence until 12 September 2003, as I had noted in my previous post.

You are spreading misinformation and also adding no value to my thread. Once again, please read up on the commodities you are selling before you sell them. I respectfully ask that you remove yourself from my thread as well.

    Thank you.

Please stop sending my email MSN invites. If you're interested, send an email message.

The offer of $50 still remains.

some middle man services are free, so why not? put yourself in a buyer's position: some guy whom nobody has ever seen before wants an incredibly low price for a steam account, uses a dummy email and paypal. no way to contact whatsoever.

People calling you fishy in your own thread, so why dont you try to prove them wrong? What do you have to lose if you go thru a TRUSTED middle man on this site?

I stand to lose everything if the middle man is malicious. I will not willingly fork over my account information to a third party.

I have made it clear that anyone wishing to purchase this account from me will have to trust my integrity. Once again, I will do everything in my power to give you full satisfaction with your purchase.

As for contact, is it really that hard to simply send an email to the address I've posted saying that you're interested? I have made it very easy to contact me, so when you say, "no way to contact whatsoever," I don't know what you're talking about.
