Why I should be a User Educator
Hello, and welcome to my User Education Application. I believe I should be a User Educator because I like doing exactly what the title suggests: Educating Users! I have been assistants on many sites, including being a Pawn Assistant on PawnGame, on the Tech Team on 3 different accounts, I've also been moderator on many successful private servers, constantly helping people out and teaching them in guides and in game about every aspect of the game. I like writing a detailed a guide, knowing that I have helped someone in the process, and even if it doesn't help anyone, I still know I can go back and change it, make a new version, add on, make it more appealing. The main job of being a PA on PawnGame is basically informing users about the rules, giving them helpful tips and hints, showing them the right paths in pretty much anything we can when they ask, so I am used to giving up time for something even as small as "How do I get guns? Can you make a gun guide?" or "How do you heal yourself?" and taking only like 10 seconds to explain. I have written many guides lost in the internet on sites I don't visit, buried deep in archives, but I still find satisfaction in knowing that I helped someone, at least ONE someone with something. I always like to strive for the best when I do something, I don't half ass my way through a guide, I make sure everything should be clear, sometimes though I just state some previous knowledge you need, and can skip basics, for the more advanced users. This also means sometimes sacrificing quantity, and audience, but can still be helpful.
This is why I think I should be a UE.

Thanks for other UE's that have inspired me to want to become a UE.

As for the guides, you are on the right track for what we look for. It seems that quality is your standard, and we like to see that in members. You might want to elaborate more on the Kick Flip guide, but other than that, it is a good application. Now all you need to do is finish! Good luck on your application.

 

Both guides were fairly good. How to execute a kick flip was a bit short for my liking, but because you are in the "early stages" of writing guides, in time you should get better at quality as well as quantity. All in all you application so far is looking good, I can't wait to see what you write about next. Best of luck.

Yes, I have partial dyslexia, it can really screw me up, and firefox spell checker stopped working after a bit, for some reason.
I fixed now.

Yes, I had to rush the kickflip guide.
I'm thinking of a new guide soon, if I can borrow a digital camera on how to clean bearings and such on a board.

But it's proving difficult.

Updated status to Home Stretch.

I'm gonna make more than one more guide for it, as I really feel the Aerosol Safe guide was a little bland for my taste.

Good luck, your guides are quite good in content. I particulary liked your C++ guide, i absolutely suck with most aspects of computers so it was quite helpful.

FYI, If I were you I would combine the two guides rather than making two mediocre guides on basically the same subject, but that's just my two cents ^_^

Otherwise, your application is pretty nicely lain out with some good points of detail. Good luck with the rest of it.

I didn't enjoy your how to execute a kick flip guide because it was so simple. You could have easily written something better.
