How to Properly take RuneScape Screenshots, Edit Them, and Post them.

So you want to take a RuneScape screen shot and want to post it for whatever reason? Need some help? Here you go.

Step 1: Take the screen shot using the button shown below.

(On laptops you have to hit [fn] then insert.

Step 2: Open up MS Paint by going to Accessories then Paint.


Step 3: Hit Edit then Paste or Ctrl + V


Step 4: Crop your image using the crop tool shown


Step 5: Save your image AS A .PNG! NOT .JPG Why .png not .jpg? Png files are much better quality but instead of hearing me talk about it, here is an example

As a .png


Step 6: Use an image uploading site, I prefer Photobucket.
Go to PhotoBucket here
Either log in or sign up. Don't worry it's free.
Now hit Albums and Upload and select "Choose files"
Pick your files and hit "Open"

Select the Image Code as shown then drag it to the window you want it on.


You should see something like this:



There you go! This is my first guide so don't flame me. Instead rate out of ten and tell me what I can improve on.

Another good tip is if you click on the program or spacific thing you want to take a picture of and hold on to alt befor pressing printscreen then it will only take a picture of that one thing. Saves time over editing if your only taking apic of a program.
