Why I should be a User Educator
Hello, and welcome to my User Education Application. I have written 5 detailed guides on how to complete and apply various things. Why pick me? I think i'd be a benefit on the usereducator team, because i WILL be active. and plan to make a new guide once every Two Weeks or so. Maybe even less.

Well, when i first came to sythe. everything was a mystery as it must've been for most of you. i had no idea how to do ANYTHING. I've made my guides on what i failed to see and understand. and what many other people did. my guide's are simple and these first one's aimed at new user's on sythe. to give them a pleasent stay and make sure they dont get lost.

Guide 6)( NEW ) - a guide on how to edit your pass and email.

Guide 7) ( *NEW ) - How to create, and remove user accounts from a computer.

Guide 8) (*NEW) - A full guide on how to complete system restore, along with the benifits. etc.

i Plan to make alot more helpful guides, and promise to be active if im chosen.

I understand some of my guide's are pretty basic. but im now constantly getting pm's about them with people giving me idea's for new guides and asking for help. just shows the little things count.

I know these guide's are basic. but as you can see there effective. if i'm accepted when i make a new guide they will be more detailed. etc. and with better guides for the more educated members ;P

 

Try making a little more 'advanced' guides. These are very simple.

 

I also want to clarify that guides pertaining (directly or indirectly) to runescape won't be considered in the final application. You'd do much better to make guide not dealing with runescape and as Rawr put it, make them more advanced. The ones you have now are still very basic.

 

damn, even though you guys don't like mine. ill make more and wont give up. ;P

so how many of you are they're that votes, etc.

 

By no means do we "not like you", were trying to help you. As for the voting, all current UE's vote on the application and a majority "yes" vote is needed for acceptance. Please don't take our comments as we dislike you. In fact it is the complete opposite. We love this section and everyone in here that wants to contribute. Good luck on your app.

Don't take it as negative, take it as constructive. Remember that if you ever need help with something in your guide, you can pm a User Educator and we'll do our best to help you.

 

alright, added another guide. short but sweet. again for the more "un-educated" but im getting pms like crazy so something's gota be working.

 

Most if not all of your guides are pretty self-explanatory. As Rawr and R33l have said, try to make them more advanced. Rather then sticking with the same two subjects *Runescape & Sythe*, try to think outside the box. Think of something nobody else has done, something you can really relate to. Good-luck with your application!

Its a no from me. for several reasons.

you pm me asking me to give you some feedback.

Second, none of the guides catch my eye. I think my little sister could do those things without a guide.

Third, you put no effort into the application. or the guides.

 

few nos already. i can always add a guide and re-apply. also effort was put into my application that's a bit of a presumption. i guess my guide's are currently aimed at new users what can i say. meh.

when will i find out the final answer?

 

Bounty Names; you have good intent with your guides.

My suggestion to you; try to write more advanced guides. Yes you can continue to write "New-People" guides but try to incorporate these in addition.

 

well seeings, 4/6 UE's said no, im pretty sure its a no.. try making new and BETTER guides, even if it is aimed at new users. put more effort, i could have made some of those guides in 5-10 minutes.

 

i got mullerred. sigh. i don't see how making guides on how to grow legal ganja would be any better. ill get working on a few new guides and ill re-apply.

 

I just want to clarify that I never said no. Your application has not been even moved to the pending area yet. Your application has not been voted on in any sense, and therefore you don't need to worry about reapplying just yet. Keep adding more guides to this application. When you feel that this application is good enough and you feel you've done a good job, pm a Head User Educator and they will move your application to the pending area and the UE's will vote in private. When the voting concludes you will get your result.

As of right now, there are no Head User Educators, so you may have to wait a couple of days until one gets promoted. Then simply pm them and ask them to move your application to the pending section.

As for the guides you write, we will consider the 5 best guides on there (based on our own judgment) when voting. If those 5 are up to our standards, then you will be accepted. Good luck on your application and I hope none of the above comments have discouraged you.

Lol, or a few hours.

Basically, most of your guides written could've easily been converged into one guide, with them all be mini guides. I notice the effort that you've put forth, but not in the way that others are looking for.

As clearly stated, you should write some more advanced guides. Nevertheless, good luck on your application.
