In need of opinions regarding my zerk (or soon to be main?)!

Whatup Sythe? I was hoping to get some feedback from you all.

So I've been playing Rs since 2001 and have always had a main. Unfortunately I sold my maxed main a few years ago not thinking i'd come back to scape. However, one does not simply quit scape. I should've known better. I came back to 07 a just over 3 months ago and made a new account, it's currently a near maxed 75 attack zerker. Stats are as follows:

75 attack
99 strength
45 defence
96 hp (99 within a week or so)
94 range (99 within a week or so)
93 mage (94 tomorrow or thursday)
52 prayer
85 slayer (my favorite skill)
1752 total, 77M total xp (14 weeks into the account courtesy of covid)

My dilemma is that I also love pvm/bossing/slayer bosses/cox etc and the 45 defence makes all of that a bit more challenging. Should I bite the bullet and stick it through or should I give in and just turn it into a main? Or are there other builds such as a 65 defence piety account that I could still have a blast pking with and be more efficient with pvm?

Also: Does anyone have a maxed 99 attack zerk that they can speak on? What is the pking bracket like at the 106/107 combat (52 vs 55 prayer)

Would love your thoughts and different suggestions regarding account builds!

 

besides making things more challenging, chances are, you initially picked the zerker route probably because you want to pk. right?

if so, I'd say go pk A LOT until you get completely sick and tired of it, then go transition to a main. just so you won't regret it for a while.

if not for pking, I don't think there's any point in leaving it as a zerk mate. probabaly besides the coolness factor. just my 2 cents!

 

Yeah I think thats a good idea, I did make it for the pking aspect. May as well enjoy some pking before I make the transition.

Side note: Still open to hear about different account builds!

 

as for account builds, probably stop at barrows build first? (70/75def), just to add a bit of variety(and funsies).

in the long haul, if you ever miss your zerk build. you could always make another at least by then you already have a main so you'd have no choice but to leave your new zerk at 45def

tldr; the only sure-fire solution to OP's problem: have 2 one zerk and one main.

 

I'll definitely regret ruining it if I somehow am able to get my main that was banned a couple years ago unbanned ( I have some new found hope after reading a post in the picture forums here)

I guess you're right. I'll probably hold off for a while until I see if I can get my main unbanned or not.

based on my experience, the longer since you got banned, the better the chances. shoot your shot. it's not like you lose anything if it ever ends up being a failed attempt.

 

I shot my shot as of 30 minutes ago. I'll let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed. It would be an insane win if it is successful. It's my maxed main, almost 2200 total, 400M total xp, 25M+ Slayer xp, etc lol.

I would stick through it until you have played all the content, and achieved all the challenges you can throw at yourself.
Then move on to a new challenge. I am new to restricted builds. They are a lot of fun, and that is how I play on one. My new "Zerk" started out as a 20 def 60 cbt Dragon Scimitar account then i wanted Gloves and a Fire cape so I moved on. I still want to make a Mobile only Dragon Scimitar at 20 def

 

This is high total zerk so should be turned into a main, then create another budget zerk
Or turn the zerk into a med level, those can boss and pk proficiently well

I like where your head is at. I will turn it into a main eventually (im thinking). Currently waiting to hear back about a ban appeal i sent in for my max main that was banned almost 2 years ago. If that is successful, I'll keep it as a zerk. Otherwise I will go main or med!

 

I would never ruin that zerk for a main, just make a new so youll have both
