[Tutorial]Adding scripts to RSbot.

Since many people are asking how to add scripts to RSbot, I've decided to put this little 5 step guide together to help newcomers figure it out.

Step 1:
First, copy and paste the code you would like into notepad.

Step 2:
Save it as what is suggest by author.(If unknown, please go HERE http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=572910).

Step 3:
place it in rsbot 1 -531 > rsbot 1 > scripts.

Step 4:
Compile.

Step 5:
Run and enjoy!


Common errors

Cant compile - Make sure you have the latest JDK, which can be downloaded here.

some authors dont post what to save as, can u post something on how to save them for beginners? if u need help on that just pm me

 

Ok something really strange happened to my compiler or I don't even know. The problem that I have encountered is that as soon as I run my compiler it erases all the .CLASS files in my script folders, now without .CLASS files I can't run the scripts from RSbot but it still keeps the .java files. Yes, I do Have latest JDK and tools.jar, and I set it up correctly because everything is running smooth, no errors, it's just something my compiler is doing that isn't suppose to happen.

Ive gotten this error too. It usually happens where there's something wrong with a script your trying to compile. Re-install rsbot and make sure the script is from a valid source. if you need any more help post here.

 

Same thing happens to me all my scripts go what should i do.

Its most likely a faulty script your trying to compile. post a pic of your compile log pl0x.
