I'm not saying it was because it was bananas. I asked why they don't sell, even with you telling me to sell on an earlier date then the rest of the people on sythe.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? I'm pretty sure I understand how it works, it's simple supply and demand. I just don't know why my stuff doesn't sell. I put up an offer for the max price, like you said to do, and leave it there for 2-3 days. Both times (with watermelons and bananas) I've only had 1k sell at the most.

I'd really like to do this, because I know that if they would just sell I'd be making a profit. I really just need somebody to answer my questions, but nobody has so far, so I'm just left to guess.

 

It wasnt a bad idea that ruined banana's, it was a few stupid people

 

I'm not even mad that I'm losing money. For one thing, I know that this would be a good way to make money, and for another, it's freaking runescape. It's fake money, and this is just a side thing to do while I've got a bot running and making me almost one mil per day.

I really just want to know why the poop my stuff doesn't sell! It's just a bit annoying to log in and see that I still have 70k bananas sitting there.

Maybe my bananas just aren't as good as your bananas?

 

I'd like to join. Roughly have 7m? I have a lot of money invested in Karils skirts right now (bad decision).

 

When i saw the bananas going down at 4gp i already knew someone droped early. My account is baned so i couldn't do such a thing. Crasher0430, by me saying this dosn't mean squad. People can go look for themself on the graph and see is going down therefore go quickly and sell theyr stuff before is going even lower. So i would appreciate you don't start with "stupid people".

 

This is what I mean. I ask some questions but nobody is there to answer them.

I dunno if you just aren't on sythe when I am, but I only see you post a few sentences that don't answer my questions at all. You need to be supportive to your clan members, especially when they don't totally understand what they're supposed to be doing. Am I supposed to sell now? Am I supposed to sell at min or at max? How long does it usually take to sell them at max?

These are questions that I'm sure I'm not the only one to ask. You should develop some kind of FAQ or something so you don't have to answer them every five minutes.

In your first post, you say that if I follow all the rules, I'll make a profit. I've followed all the rules, at least I'm pretty sure I have because you haven't really clarified what the rules are, and both times I've lost money (I still have ALL 70k of my bananas STILL trying to sell).

I'm really just trying to understand what the problem is, but you haven't been very helpful. You've only basically called me a noob and left me alone, which is the opposite of what you should be doing.

 

First of all, you can't expect GT to do everything in this clan it all revolves around the community because we all put a share of our life into this game for some kind of enjoyment, When to sell, he tells you on this thread when to sell, now you can't really expect a FAQ for this situation because it's different for everyone, some people will make ,millions while others will lose millions, now I'm sure GT meant if everyone follows the rules then everyone will make a profit, which half the time doesn't happen because of impatient people, now if you think about it , it's obvious why you aren't selling your, your selling at max when people are dumping at min, you can't just wait for someone to tell you to sell at min, because if your selling at max and others are selling at min then of course you're not going to be able to sell yours, for now i would recommend you to hold onto yours until they bounce back or get merched by someone else.

 

Well, if it wasn't GT's clan, I wouldn't be asking him about it. He's the guy that came up with the idea, so I figured I'd ask him.

He told me when to sell, and he told me a day before he told everybody else because my watermelons didn't sell last time. I've had them sitting there trying to sell since he told me to sell.

I've asked a few simple questions. All I'm asking for is some answers. I said before that I'm not mad about losing money because it's freaking runescape gold. I don't want to lose it all, but it'd be nice to make a bit of money back for doing basically nothing. I just want some help and nobody has even tried so far. That's all.

 

What happenned is when GT told us to sell, it was after someone with a lot of banana's, or a few people with bananas, had dumped early. This fulfilled the demand of bananas at the time so when we tried to sell, no one was interested. The prices dropped because when people dump early and there is no demand, people try and sell for less which causes the price to drop. You did the right thing by selling for max, but the fact that people dumped early dropped the price so your max is over the max price now.(im not sure if im making to much sense, hit me up on msn if you need clarification)

Now I recommend you hold your bananas until the price stabilizes, because currently everyone is trying to get rid of them that followed the clan, which means you wont be able to sell them. I still have 30k bananas i think in my bank waiting until the price stabilizes.

 

Thank you, that's all I wanted to know. I guess they sold when I was posting, so woot for me. I got 4 mil out of them, which was about what I put into it, so I guess I didn't lose any, or if I did it wasn't much. I think we should make this private so it doesn't get messed up again.

 

Homertherat.. I undestand where you come from.. but from my point of view he did explain everything you need to know. When he says "dump the items", that means sell for max.

Of course is not a 100% chance of making good profit. Thats how the market is.. unpredictable. Now all you can do is wait for them go back up or sell them for the current price.

With that being said. We shall wait for the next item and make profit to cover this "loss" (for some people). I hope i helped a little.

 

Yeah I get what you're saying, but I was just wondering why my crap wouldn't sell. I sold when he told me to and they just sat there. I understand now why they didn't sell, so I'm good now.

Thanks for answering my questions finally. Now I'm satisfied. I just hope GT doesn't come in here and see my other posts before this one and get all angry and stuff.

 

I am glad that someone got to help you. I think this should be private as well but if its private we wont have as many people and therefore profit won't be as high but.. up to the leader

Im not angry lol. Glad you sold your bananas, mine just went through for max I think. I lost about 1.3m. =S

I will make this a private clan, but as you know I have probs viewing the site. So if you guys can form a small group to get people for us, get in contact with me, etc so itll be like 5 people or so deciding the item AFTER we let the clan post their opinions on it.

Its alright, the first times are going to be rocky until we can get a philosophy down. Everything went perfect until the very, so once we solidify how we do it, everything should work out.
