What event happened at the date of your postcount.

This thread is only for people with less than 2010 posts.
For example, if you happen to have the postcount 1492 you can say that Columbus (re)discovered the Americas. Or 1945, that WW2 ended, etc..

    Rules:
    1. No trolling
    2. No idiotic posts
    3. You can use ANY source.
    4. There is no rule #4.
    5. It has to be YOUR postcount.

    Starting with me:
    1378
Following the death of Pope Gregory XI and riots in Rome calling for a Roman pope, the cardinals, who are mostly French, elect Pope Urban VI (Bartolomeo Prignano, Archbishop of Bari) as the 202nd Pope.

    GO!

    EDIT:
January 27 — Constance of Sicily marries Henry (the future Henry VI, Holy Roman Emperor).
John the Chanter becomes Bishop of Exeter.
The Byzantine Empire recognizes the independence of Bulgaria and Serbia.
Guy of Lusignan becomes King of Jerusalem.
    Joscius becomes Archbishop of Tyre.
Jayavarman VII, the king of Cambodia, founds the temple of Ta Prohm.
After the death of the child-king Baldwin V, his mother succeeds him as Sibylla of Jerusalem and appoints her disfavoured husband Guy de Lusignan king consort. This comes as a shock to Jerusalem's court, whom had earlier forced the possible future Queen into promising that should she become so, she would not appoint him the title.
