This isn't actually a manip, I know what you mean by adding in extra effects.
But a manipulation is adding a building or person ( or anything else ) and blending it in.

 

Yes i agree with haunting look on deviantart for great examples on photo manipulation your actually blocking out the photo by adding all those effects not expanding it's beauty like a real photo manipulation.

 

Wow nice work, i no this is a nooby question but what program do you use for your work?

 

I use PhotoShop CS2

Im still working on getting some of that king of photo manipulation done, my problem is I suck at rendering and so I have to get others to render images for me, and then also finding the right pictures to get rendered to do it as well.

 

they are nice, the bottom one looks familiar, what render is that in the first one man?
