How to get some spending cash on a new nonmember account?

I'm wondering if anybody knows any ways to get around 20k cash on a new account that is under trade restrictions? Seems like just about all skilling is blocked from profit. I'm wondering if picking up chicken bones and selling them is the best method since at least they can be sold (for now...).

 

idk about 20k, but the stronghold of security is an easy 10k.

 

Yeah that's always useful for sure but after that I'm sort of stuck at a wall.

 

if your account has a trade restriction, you also can't sell on the GE right?

 

You cant sell any items on the list prohibited by the restriction which covers a lot of stuff. You can use the GE to sell other things though. Like I know bones can be sold still. Potatoes. Onions.

I am trying to find more things that can be sold though that can get that amount of money is a reasonable amount of time.

 

Going to be tedious, but probably make dyes and sell them on the GE. all I could think of atm.

 

True that could be one possibility. Ill have to take a look at what goes into each dye to see how practical it is.

 

it's pretty practical for most of the dyes. It's just that it's going to be a bit harder to script a bot for it, compared to the typical stuff like cutting trees and mining ores.

 

Steel platebodies in deep wilderness, sell to horvik or ge whichever sells higher can make gp I believe. F2p is very limited. There is cows for cowhide, chickens for feathers, clay I believe. Just a few ideas

 

The steel platebody could be useful. Cowhide, feathers, and clay I think are all prohibited items under the trade restrictions.

 

You can try flipping using the g.e.

Pickup your 10k from the stronghold, head to the g.e, purchase very unknown f2p items and sell for higher. Easier said than done but flippingoldschool on youtube has an awesome series going from 1gp to a t-bow flipping.
