    1.0 - Introduction
Welcome to Bleedingstar's guide to hunter!
In this guide I will include the Where's, How's, Why's, and What's to help you increase your hunter level, or even get the hunter cape.
I enjoy this skill, and it is highly profitable at higher levels , so I thought I would share with you the knowledge I have gathered.

    2.0 - About Me
I thought it would be a good idea to start making a contribution to these forums, as they have helped me so much in the previous weeks, with
the guides, cheating forum, and generally just something to read whilst i auto/play runescape.
Now its time i made a contribution, posting a guide on the hunter skill.
    THIS IS MY FIRST GUIDE!
So i would appreciate any constructive criticism... Or general flaming if you wish.
I decided to write this guide as I have seen very few quality guides about hunter, im sure alot of people know the methods I've used, but a lot of people will not have.

    3.0 - Hunting! the road to 99.

Ok, Firstly we need equipment! i recommend buying all the equipment at once, to save you going backwards and forward and generally wasting valuable time.
So off we head to a hunter store in Yanille:

    we need;
2 Bird snares (you only really need one of these, i have a tendency to misplace things though)
2 butterfly nets(you only really need one of these, i have a tendency to misplace things though)
    10 butterfly jars
    5 box traps

also from other various stores around runescape. and most peoples junk items
    5 ropes
    5 small fishing nets
teleportation runes (or patience walking backwards and forwards)

    Ok. We Are Ready!

    Level's 1-9!

    To gain these first few levels we have 2 choice's, either;
    A. hunter.
    B. Easy sub-quest that takes about 10 minutes.

    A.
for levels 1-9 we are going to be training on 'Crimson Swift's', you need 969exp to get to level 9, and with these you get 34 experience each,
all you need to bring is a bird snare, you only need to bring one for the moment, as at level 1 this is all you can set up.
to get to level 9 you need to catch 29 of these. this doesn't sound like a lot. but with only 1
bird snare it can take a while.

Crimson Swift's are located south west of FELLIP HILLS. Here are a few ways you can get to
    them:

ok basically all you do is find a nice spot, then lay your trap, and wait to catch them.

Congratulations! your now Level 9. 90 more levels to go!

    B.
This way is my personal choice.

Teleport to Varrock... If your already at Varrock this is not necessary.
Then go to that 'pointless' Museum you've passed plenty of times, on your way to the wilderness.

    Once their head downstairs.
You will see a lovely old boy called Orlando Smith, this guys going to get you 9 hunter in less than ten minutes!
Talk to him, and you will start a sub-quest called 'Varrock Museum'.

Basically in return for 1000 exp to hunter and slayer, you have to answer a few questions about a few animals.

    A detailed guide, including all the answers to the questions, can be found here;

    http://tip.it/runescape/?page=varrock_museum.html

Congratulations! your now Level 9. 90 more levels to go!

    Level's 9-15!

Ok. this bits boring. Your going to be catching 'Copper Longtails'to get to level 15 we need 1,442 more exp, and these get you 62 experience each! so we only need to catch 42 to reach our target!

The Copper Longtails are located north-west from the Grand Tree next to the Falconry Area. These are the same as the Crimson Swifts, you just bring 1 trap,
    set it, catch, repeat.

Congratulations! your now Level 15. 84 more levels to go!

    Level's 15-20!

Now we grab our Butterfly Net, and our ten Butterfly Jars. We are now going to catch 'Ruby Harvests' we need 2059 more exp to get to level 20,
these only get you 24 experience each, but in my opinion these are much better than Copper Longtails. We need to catch 86 to meet our target!
These are found slightly south of the Copper Longtails, you probably noticed little red dots moving around you screen as you went up to the copper longtails. these are what you will be catching.

    You find them here:

Its also a good idea to set run on at this moment, so you can catch these little things quicker. All you have to do is click on them, then your character chases them until you catch them, then puts it in your Butterfly Jar, once all your jars are filled simply right click and press release to empty the jar. make sure you press release and not drop. i tend to lose concentration and end up running around with only 5 or 6 jars :p

Congratulations! your now Level 20. 79 more levels to go!

*NOTE* A lot of people i talk to dont like catching ruby harvest, and often choose to stick to catching copper longtails

    Level's 20-30!

Now its back to the trusty Bird snares! this time you can bring two. as the runescape gods have congratulated your boredom and now let you do things a bit quicker. THANK YOU!

    >_<
Its going to feel like your going to be here for along time. even though your now using two bird snares.
You need to be heading to where the Crimson Swifts were, and this time we will be hunting the 'Tropical Wingtails' we will need 8893 experience to get to level 30
and these give 95.2 experience each, meaning we only need to catch 91 to get to level 30!

I recommend saving the Feathers, as they can be used for fishing! They are used to catch Rainbow fish which heal 11hp, and can be caught at level 38 with a fly-fishing rod, and level 38 cooking to cook. So they are almost as effective as lobsters!

Congratulations! your now Level 30. 69 more levels to go!

    Level's 30-47!

Your going to need the Priest In Peril Quest completed to do this section.

Now Grab Yourself 3 ropes, and 3 small fishing nets and head to Canifis! we are going to be hunting Swamp Lizards / Green Salamanders.
to reach out target we are going to need 60,764 experience. these give 152 experience each so we need to catch 407 to meet our target.

*NOTE* the Swamp Lizards also sell for around 1k gp each, thats over 400k gp!, selling these is pretty hopeless, however, you could also use them to transfer money between accounts.

All you need to do is click on the young tree and it sets up the trap! at level 40 you can set 3 of these up.

Congratulations! your now Level 47. 52 more levels to go!

    Level's 47-59!
Now time to head to the sunny sunny desert! south of uzer to be precise. Don't forget to bring your waterskins and sunblock!
We are going to be catching orange salamanders!
to get to level 59 we need 172000 experience, These are 224 experience each, this means we will have to catch 772 to meet our target!
i found this extremely quick =]

    Your tip.it link is wrong.

    It's .htm not .html

EDIT: Also, the Copper Longtails are further north. Just beside the falconry.

Lol.. I don't get it. Why do people even make guides like this, when there are thousands of them on google or runescape fan websites stating exacly same info..
I understand if you have like some new or secret methods of training, but this is just.. Everyone knows it lol..
