Guide To Correct and Respectfull Pking!

First of all I need you to understand, this is not a guide on how to kill more people or what stuff to wear, but a guide on how to pk right, and with honor.

After spending much time in the PvP Worlds/Bh, I decided I would make a guide on pking of all types, but not just that, pking with Honor and not just being another 1/3/4 itemer that teles and weakens. Read it all the way through, or browse, but I can assure you, in one way or another it will help.

I'd like to start with the definition of honor, right off of Dictionary.com-


High respect, as that shown for special merit; esteem: the honor shown to a Nobel laureate.

Good name; reputation.
A source or cause of credit: was an honor to the profession.

Glory or recognition; distinction.
A mark, token, or gesture of respect or distinction: the place of honor at the table.
A military decoration.
A title conferred for achievement.
High rank.
The dignity accorded to position

1. Is pking really for you? Many people debate this question. If you go into the wilderness praying that you don't lose what you are wearing, because it is your only set, or you think you will spend forever trying to earn it back, then pking is not for you. Build up your stats and take it on when you are stable...

Many times I go to attack people and as I get them down, or after they die, I get messages/pms about how they need it back so bad and how it was their only set, ect. ect. My response, "Don't wanna lose it, don't bring it out there."

If you are going to take full rune/kite and scimmy into the wildy, make sure that you can take the loss if you die, and not spend hours afterwards beating yourself up about it. I personally don't go pking until I have atleast 3 sets of full and 5-8 scimmys. You say, "well I have one set, so I'll just bring 1 item out and protect" Well, you sir are a noobie =D.

So whats stopping you from doing this? You say "Its just a game, who cares if I have honor?" or "OMG what a loser, he's so attached to those pixels" Well if you say that, then clearly you aren't in any way attatched, and you should have no problem losing a set of full.

2. The same thing applies, "who cares if I don't have honor, it's a game OMG what a nerd" That is the thing that seperates the n00bs from the pkers, the people who have the honor to stand their ground when outnumbered/overpowered. No I don't mean stand in one spot and let them own you. You can run, but after 10 seconds DO NOT LOG. You can continue running south until they have left you alone/ you have gotten away. Say they catch up with you at lvl 15 wildy, don't say, "Yes I made it, I can just tele now" That again is what makes you a true noob, the kind of person who should be hung by their toenails over a pit of dull knives while being violated in the a$$ by a dog.

Today (June 28th) I loggen in to find myself surrounded by a pk trip, didn't catch who's, looked like ZF, but thats not the point. I had time to login, and quickly logout, but that is the difference between the good pkers, and those who dream of getting full iron kills in lvl 1 varrock wildy. When I know I'm dead, not only do I just die, I will congratulate the people on the kills. That is what needs to be done by all players, not just start cursing about how big of n00bs they are because they killed you, and maybe you were outnumbered, you need to get over it and move on. Remember, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter to them that you are angry they killed you, infact it gives people pride to know that you are upset about it.

Weakening, although a part of the game that you can do nothing about, it is frowned upon by all pkers with decency. Yeh I have 62 mage, I can cast all the weaken spells on them if I really wanted, but that isn't pking with honor, it's not something that is needed to be explained, you just don't do it, regardless of how high your mage is.

3. We have all seen them at some point, they are the ones who come up to you and say, Attack me, I'll own you. Then you don't attack them because of the obvious reason that they are a 4 iteming non-skuller. Then they say something like,"OMG n00b , you are just scared of me, OMG what a n00b, he is such a fhag, what a n00ber omg n00ber" <----- Tell me that you haven't seen stuff like that before =P. My advice on people like this, ignore them, nothing can be done, but NEVER, NEVER become one of these sick people.

4.Heres what I hear a lot, "My stats are bad, I'm going to die, I need to 1 item" Well, what is your escuse here? In rs2 you can't really be impure unless you have prayer, which only works as a benefit. So how can your stats be that bad, they may not be the best for pking, you may be 65 65 65, but that doesn't mean your bad, 90% of the people pking are what would be known as impures in rs, so you have a chance. Anyone has a chance. DO NOT DOUBT YOURSELF, Self-confidence as a lot to do with pking, If you have the confidence to attack people higher than you, or maybe take on a big team, you greatly increase your odds of getting kills.


5. Things to remember- If you are going to pk, please, do it with honor. Don't become another one of the people I have listed above. By following everything here, you will show people that you are a great pker, even if your stats are not the best, you will be great some day. Anyone who ever hopes to be a great pker someday, or just a respected one, one that people want to pk with, please,please don't be like these people.

Well, maybe my guide didn't help, but I can assure you, if you didn't learn something, or agree with the points, you are someone who needs to read it again.

Hard to read and also More of a rant then a guide. I also noticed you didnt mention pjers which is good.

 

Pking with honor, according to some of those written up their, doesn't get respect from anyone, like they don't really care or think about. Like the pk trip in the wildy.

Aren't the spells put there to be used as a pking tactic? That's like saying "you can only use the list of things I specify, anything else would make you a cunt?"

Lol that's now what i ment to say. I meant to say more like that spells are useless and no one use them or should use. There are only a few people that still use it.

Well, I guess that's any easy question, I'm tired of wasting my food with people that when you hit a 20+ run away and many other things. (Oh and yes I'm low level that's why I say 20 =] )


And sorry I totally forgot about pjers. They are so commun now that I didn't even remember like a desrespectfull thing Lol.

I mean if I see someone at the street I don't desrespect that person. If he/she says "good morning" I say good morning too. That's respect.

I never knew they were rules to a who can kill who fight, thats funny.

Honor is dumb, if you can rush someone and KO them why bother asking them, if they are standing in the wild its fair game. Anyways, jagex didnt make the rules so why follow them?
