I would like to state out that humans are animals too. Only we are more intelligent.

No they dont... they know for a fact that animals use a combination of many things to outcome in how they act some of these may be innate reflexes but some actions require thinking and combining previous memorys to come to a conclusion which is definately thinking.

Ofcourse animals have feelings, just because they can't express it to the extent humans can doesn't mean they are void of emotion. Im sure you've seen a dog wagging its tail or licking their owner when its happy. They also learn and respond to their name when called which shows they can think.

We can train dogs, it means they learn, thus they think.

Also look at this, whenever your dog is hungry , doesn't it look at you? well mine does.

What is the point of this thread, of course animals think, How do they walk, eat, hear? And feelings wise, why do you think they cry ect.
So the concept on this thread is a bit silly.

Ye of course they do, when i take my dog out for a walk she wags he tail (stump) LOL, shes excited and thats how she shows it. If shes ill she actually looks sad she moaps around hanging her head down, and grumbles if you bother her too much.

Obviously animals can think...you probably want to rethink that part of the question, seriously.

As for feelings, I would say the more complex mammals do, such as dogs, cats, dolphins, chimpanzees, etc. Obviously their emotions are very basic but we can see them clearly sometimes. I don't think beetles have emotions, however.

yes they have feelings, and yes they think. If they didnt think, how do u think those racing horses know which way to go and when to run or not. They are trained. In order to be trained i think u need a brain. This is one of those silly questions lol that a 5 year old asks..

Animals have instinct and they think(monkeys learing from each other), about feelings I wouldn't be so sure, if you mean love or hate.

Put an animal in captivity it will act differently

Take a pup away from its mother it will cry

Elephants mourn their dead and live in communities

pain is different from feelings. Pain comes in the form of nerves and the brain reacts to it, it is a very basic function. If you put an ant under a magnifying glass it will try to run away, but do you think an ant would become depressed if one of its friends died?

ofcourse they do, you notice when a dog for example, loves his owner, and when it attacks someone who tries to hurt him/her.

    Of course they do!
Thats exactly like me wondering if you "feel", or "think".
We are animals, just the most intelligent.
They may not express their emotions, or thoughts like us,
    but they do have them!
