Obviously Marijuana is still bad for you, but cigarettes are a lot worse and you can get them at the age of 18. I do agree Pot isn't bad; I go to a private school and almost half the kids smoke pot there, nothing wrong with them. In 5th grade when you have to take the DARE progam, DARE pretty much brainwashes you into thinking Marijuana is bad, but people grow up and realize it isn't bad for you as bad as most things are. Cigarettes kill people, Marijuana does not. If Marijuana was made legal and put in shops the percent of Marijuana found not mixed with other drugs will increase, therefore making it even safer.

 

His title is weed is safe when it made it to a chart about dangerous drugs. A little contradictory eh?

We are aware that marijuana isn't all that dangerous, but how the hell do you know what it's laced with before you bought it? Whenever I ask that question I get some kind of lame ass answer such as; "Because... man" or "I got it from my friend". I seriously doubt you grow your own weed btw.

king klutz:how do i know if its laced or not? weed is only laced at most 2%(yes i pulled that number out of my ass, but it seems reasonable) of the time and thats when you buy it in jamaica. you have to be a dumbass to not notice whether or not your dealer is shady. most dealers get there shit from clubs and doctors anyways.

I agree, a lot of people in this thread are idiots.

I however, don't agree that smoking Marijuana is a good thing. When comparing Marijuana to a stimulant such as caffeine, caffeine merely stimulates your body, keeping you awake and alert and if not abused in the forms of coffee and so on, is actually good for you. Marijuana may not be as addictive, but there have been links to mental disorders such as schizophrenia and forms of psychosis. Not to mention, I see taking illicit drugs as a "way out" of reality, and that in itself is what I call both pointless and cowardice.

Is it as bad as alcohol or nicotine? No. Does that make it healthy and safe? No. In some cases, it can be very helpful, such as medical purposes. It isn't 'good' for you, it's not as bad as other things.
