And rune sounds so much better than season 7, Season 7 sounds like a type of fucking sauce.

 

Skilling and PKing on rs was better, but the combat training etc on WoW is horrible.

 

I hate how people simply can't admit that World of Warcraft is better.

Most of you guys are just saying Runescape because you guys either can't afford WoW or never have really tried the game properly.
(Huge difference between trail and actually playing the game 1-80)

Runescape is simply about standing hours unend on the same spot, leveling up combat skills/non combat skills. The quests are oring, and the graphics suck!

Yes, I've played both games, and I can honesly say WoW is WAY better than Runescape.

Runescape graphics do indeed suck.
WoW armor has way better names than Runescape armors.
You can gem and enchant your armor for certain bonuses.

I don't think season 7 is out yet, but :
Season 6 = Deadly Gladiator's
Season 5 = Hateful Gladiator's
Season 4 = Brutal Gladiator's
Season 3 = Vengeful Gladiator's
Season 2 = Merciless Gladiator's
Season 1 = Gladiator's
That's the MAIN PvP sets.

And while we're at it, Runescape armors looks crap!

You simply can't judge a game you've never tried.
You mean using shortcuts is hard? I mean, remembering 1-10? Or make other different shortcuts?
(I myself use : 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,q ,e ,tab, shift + (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, c, q))
Others use less complicated actions, like simply 1-6 and won't need more, but certain things are upto players playing style.

Runescape is all about mouse clicking, which is so freaking boring.

PvP on both games kind of suck.
WoW used to be great for PvP, not like in the way you can get someones items, but in the way when they didn't need to use Battleground to meet up and fight others.
There used to be these places in game, Hordes and Alliance meet up, and just fought, it's so much more enjoyable that way.
(Now there's battlegrounds for that, which isn't as fun, but World PvP in WoW beats RS when you have to go into Wilderness to actually fight others)
But Runescapes PvP isn't any good either.

i played runescape for like 3 years and i quit and tried WoW and i was in to that for like 1 month and its confusing and takes up alot of time

 

Simply wow.

First fact: players.
13 Million active accounts on wow now across the world, whereas on runescape there are about 200,000 (including botters).

Second fact: updates.
Wow updates are actually good, and if they aren't liked, they are actually removed. Unlike rs, where jagex doesn't give a shit.

Third fact: staff.
Wow staff like working with people, and aren't as "sealed off" as Jagex are. If you want to talk to a blizzard employee, you can, and they actually respond to you.

Forth fact: area.
In World of Warcraft, on the ORIGINAL AREA (no expansions), it would take roughly 16-18 hours walking to get from the bottom of the left island to the bottom of the right, walking up via the top island. Runescape would take about an hour, maybe two.

Of course, wow has more NPCs, monsters, items, weapons, spells, armour, types, or rather "classes" (mages, etc), and well, WoW has over 8000 quests in total, while Runescape has like what, 150?

More people will like Runescape on this site, as it is afterall a "runescape" cheating site, but well, 13 million people slightly beats 200,000.

they do have names, as Anti said. Deadly Gladiator sounds better than fucking Runite.

 

I have been playing both games for more then 3 years.
And i say World of Warcraft is way better.

 

runescape, always new updates and even if u max out on everything there might be a new skill or quest, runescape goes on and on , wow doesnt

Have you ever got to end game WoW?

(WoW actually updates NEW instances/raids into the game, if people get to the end of the game)

 

I used to play Rs, but I quit because it got bored etc.
I also played wow for less than an hour and than quit because it was boring.
So, in the end, I'd chose neither of them.

 

I don't like to pay the ridiculously high fee for WoW, when I can just play RS for free.

 

I agree, WoW isn't THAT great of a game that you have to pay that much.

When Runescape on the other hand is free and if you want membership its not that much money at all.

 

Yeah but, because of that you get better graphics, better end game and more of a reason to play. (Cause your paying lol) I personally play RS more than wow but Id have to say for an actual game WoW wins.

$15 a month for a game is trash, even for an MMO.

 

runescape is the best money wise but if you can afford WOW than i believe it is best

it all comes down to affordability

 

Before January 2008 I'd have to say runescape, right now it's WOW though.
