Macro Ban appeal successful

I’ve recently appealed a ban I received back in 2013 for botting, to my surprise Jagex responded to say that due to the time passed they’d give me another shot at playing legitimately.

Does anyone have any idea on the timeframe I should be waiting to appeal bans, as I have quite a few from around 2015-2018 time that I’d like to attempt this with too.

 

Anything over 4 years by using the "I apologize" works for sure for macro bans. I've been successful after doing it repeatedly on an account at about the 2 year mark too.

 

I don't think anyone has enough data to identify a specific cutoff. However, I've seen tons that are 2+ years get successfully appealed.

 

i have my main pure maxed 1900+ total lvl acc banned 3 month ago , anything i can do about it?

I guess you’re going in too early. The ones I’ve been successful on so far were banned in 2018 or earlier.

Ur account hijacked ?
Or u made mistake and u’d like to apologize

I think it depends on the ban itself. My accepted appeal was actually 3 years later. I tried appealing after 2 years and it was declined. 1 year later, it was accepted.

I'm not sure how they decide but for sure a few years as long as it was a botting ban. Pretty sure RWT bans are never unbanned.

 

Did you send any prior appeals before sending these ones in to be accepted? Cause it says after sending in one appeal that they wont look at anymore after that.

 

I of course tried when the account got banned originally however, I think that statement is false or ties into the time that has passed since the ban.

I've sent appeals on accounts every 3-4 months after the one appeal you supposedly get. I get a response 50% of time. Just keeping sending them in.

 

Chances are a lot lower, but you can claim that your account was previously broken into.

 

I would wait at least one year to two years. I know that sounds like a long time, but if you have loads of GP on the account it is worth it.

 

if its a macro ban your good to appeal it right away you should get unbanned

 

I just sent in an appeal today for my main that was banned 23 months ago. Not quite the 2 year mark but almost. I'm hoping it will be unbanned but if not i'll keep trying every month. Keep you all posted <3
