you seem to be missing my point. you shouldn't have to retaliate; they aren't really making fun of you. they're kidding. if you don't like that kind of joking, most clients have a built in /ignore command.

contrary to popular belief, it works, and i'm sure they'd be happy to have you take yourself off their hands for a while. the point i am trying to make is that if you attack the staff without making it clear that you are joking, or if you're not joking, chances are you're going to suffer, and that's the way it works

there's a reason they were given power in the first place, and that's something everyone has to live with and respect regardless
